In reply to: [Easy Author Image] Author Image Won't Preview Or Save After UploadYep I’m having the same issue here, unfortunately I think I’m going to have to jump ship and change plugins

In reply to: [AGCA - Custom Dashboard & Login Page] Role BasedYep role based would be ideal, or even the ability to exclude the settings from being applied to some users. There always needs to be that one account that can see everything
Cheers Phil, great that you are on top of this! The default calendar looks horrible, yours is much better! looking forward to seeing the update

In reply to: [Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget)] Incompatibility with other pluginsWell, unfortunately I’m not going to be using this plugin any more or recommending it due to the above issues. Hopefully there will be a fix or some feedback soon, but in the meantime I’m going to move back to using regular widgets instead
Hey M One, I use Canvas too and I’m having similar problems. Could you try using a different theme and see if you’re seeing the same issue? Remember that the sidebar areas will be different, so you might need to add your custom post widget to a different sidebar to test

In reply to: [Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget)] JetPack Sharing incompatibilityWell, this is not resolved, so can this be marked accordingly?

In reply to: [Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget)] JetPack Sharing incompatibilityAlso having this problem, here’s what I’ve tried from your suggestions Johan:
– Tried the filter within functions.php and it works to show the checkbox in Jetpack settings, but it doesn’t do anything to remove the Jetpack sharing
– Tried to uncheck the box “Show sharing buttons” on the content block and this had no effect. The setting wouldn’t even save.
– Within widgets, setting the option “Do not apply content filters” works nicely. Can this be applied to the shortcodes? I’m use more shortcodes than widgets to display content blocks.Happy to test other things, very keen to get this resolved ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Any nice examples with Canvas theme?I used flex slider directly so I could use ACF to build the slide content instead of what’s built in with WooSlider (which is not much as you pointed out!). Here’s a screenshot of the slider custom fields in the backend. I can add, remove and re-order slides easily. It works awesome.
I didn’t use the woo-widget-page areas for the homepage, I used a custom page template with ACF again for each of the different sections. First I created the entire page just with HTML then I turned each part that I wanted to allow the client to edit into a custom field with ACF. I’d like to further improve this using ACF flexible content field.
Cheers again Bonnie, I’m stoked to get some good feedback on my work!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Any nice examples with Canvas theme? Thanks Bonnie ??
The gridded boxes were done with CSS3 transitions. I can’t remember exactly where I picked this up but there was a tutorial on Codrops, which is s my usual go to place for cool effects like this. Incredible resource!
With the header slider, I used flex slider. I started by making the entire slider full width then I used the content class to center the actual slider content. I’m also using Advanced Custom Fields so the client can choose the background colour, slider and overlay content from the backend. I don’t think they have ever logged in to see this though! haha I still enjoyed making it.
I think Canvas might have a full width slider in the latest version now too which would save a heap of time if you’re trying to do this.
Cheers
@cxianwei cheers for chiming in but that’s not what this post is about. As per the post title we’re talking about showing variations with add to cart on the product archive page.

In reply to: How to add a product via frontend in woocommerce?Hey @varazdat-atanyan, from what I’ve seen this is not built in. You would have to write custom code to achieve this.

In reply to: How to add a product via frontend in woocommerce?Great resources @raulillana the tutsplus tutorial would be the ideal way to go for the devs.
Nice one Shashank.
You need to remember that this plugin is open source so the plugin authors really have no duty to respond to you or any of us. Try and be patient about this and you will have much better luck getting help. After all, this is the community forum for a product that we are using to make money for free so we’ve all got to try and help each other.
Hopefully your idea gets put together as a plugin at some stage as it would be a great feature.

In reply to: How to add a product via frontend in woocommerce? Thanks selvendran p. I have got that far. You mentioned earlier about post category not using product categories? Do you have a fix for that so you can pick product categories from the front end?
