Yes, the same thing happened on my site. Had to revert to the previous version.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Nofollow and sponsored options missing in WordPress 6.3Hey @maybellyne I found it, but it’s incredibly difficult and not intuitive at all. The little window that pops up is not wide enough to show the edit button, especially when there’s a long link. You have to scroll over to see it. And then you have to know to click to edit the url before the Advanced option appears. I hope this will soon have an easier function like before.
And I suggest Yoast to update the blog post on these attributes to show instructions for WP 6.3 – plus do some social media promotions or new blog post to show the update.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Nofollow and sponsored options missing in WordPress 6.3Thank @maybellyne but exactly what Advanced Dropdown are you referring to? When I click on a link and the link menu appears, the down arrow does not contain those options. Do you have a video or screen shots to show where it is or should be?
Same for my site – it auto-updated even though I have it set for manual updates.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Revise and Rewrite & Ultimate Addons TOC Not WorkingIt is working now. Thank you for your help.
Just circling back to say it finally dismissed by clicking the X. Thank you for updating the plugin!
The X makes it go away but it comes back every time I click on a different dashboard item (posts, media, etc).
There were no errors in the console for my browser when I clicked the X
Again, please, pretty please, have a “Dismiss” option button that will make it go away.
It would be better if the plugin had a dismiss option so users are not required to participate in a survey or go through hoops to make it go away.

You can see the button in the post: https://2019.atlanta.wordcamp.org/wordcamp-atlanta-tickets-on-sale/
Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like in email:

Just noticed the message is because I deleted a post:
“You just trashed a Post. Search engines and other websites can still send traffic to your deleted post. You should create a redirect to ensure your visitors do not get a 404 error when they click on the no longer working URL. With Yoast SEO Premium, you can easily create such redirects.”
It would be great if there was a way to stop getting the message over and over again (I’m deleting a lot of posts).

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Block missing “Image Title Attribute” FieldStill the same as far as I know. Image Title Attribute and other image html tags are no longer being supported, including the one Pinterest uses for pin descriptions (data-pin-description).
What’s worse is that they made it so WordPress will strip those tags out of your images when you convert existing posts from Classic to Blocks – without warning or a way to save your content.
It was a sad day when WordPress decided it was okay to intentionally remove content, people’s intellectual property. A very sad day indeed.

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Block missing “Image Title Attribute” FieldI’m not sure that is the right ticket. It’s difficult because of the confusion caused by two fields people are calling title. One is for a file name and the other creates the html title attribute.
That ticket is really for the image title (file name) and only mentions the attribute in the discussion. It doesn’t really draw attention or focus to the attribute field.
It would be great if there was a ticket specifically for the attribute. Since I’m not a developer, I’m not on github and therefore can’t create a ticket.

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Block missing “Image Title Attribute” FieldYou are incorrect. It isn’t the same thing.
Per Mike Schroder in the Slack Making WordPress #core-media channel, there was a decision to discontinue support for the Image Title Attribute field in Gutenberg. You can see his reply when I posted about this issue there. Take a look at the discussion.
I am glad Mike is looking into the matter. Removing the Image Title Attribute field and not allowing an image title tag in the image html (title=”example”) will negatively affect businesses and bloggers currently utilizing it for multiple purposes, the main being SEO.

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Block missing “Image Title Attribute” FieldI don’t understand why this was marked as resolved.
It is still impossible to add the Image Title Attribute in Gutenberg for an image in a post or page using the Image Block.
When you add an image and click on the pencil icon in the image block, the Add/Edit Media window opens and the “Image Title Attribute” field is not available in that window.
If you try to edit an image html and add the title tag (title=”example”) you get a message to resolve an error. So it won’t let you add it manually with html either.
The Image Title Attribute field is not available for an image in the media library so you can’t add it there either (and wouldn’t want to since it could change for each post).
And, again, I’m not referring to the image title or alt-text. This is the field called “Image Title Attribute” that was under Advanced Options when editing an image in the Classic editor.

In reply to: Gutenberg Image Block missing “Image Title Attribute” FieldThen there is a bug. When I click on the pencil icon it opens the “Select or Upload Media” window. It does not give an option to edit the photo.
