question:
I had to set the setting to 25 mb but I now get 16 zip files on the external storage. can I set the setting back to 400 mb?
this is what i have to do :
To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb, save your settings and run a new process.

I can’t wait to make the backup. I have deleted the bakup files from the server and tried to make a backup again. this was again unsuccessful.

Hi Bryle,
I have made free space on my server but still not yet a good backup.

Question: Can I delete the backups in updraftplus but not from the external storage?
since I store 6 version I can still delete the 4 former version on the server but not on the external storage.
when I do rescan remote storage with the button, I still get my backups back in the list!

Hi, I did the steps as described by Bryle but not a good result.

still get the notice:
0159.366 (0) There were errors in the uploads, so the ‘resume’ event is remaining scheduled

0159.371 (0) The backup has not finished; a resumption is scheduled

I also see this now in the shedule screen:

Web server disk space in use by UpdraftPlus: 646.7 MB refresh

Before the setting change to 25 mb it was around 316, mb.

hi,
I did another authorization and this went well.
Success: you have authenticated your Dropbox account.
Your Dropbox account name: Apo ton lofo1

then did the backup again and again received an error.

can you help me on my way to solve this because I really don’t know how to do this.
there is a document about how the backup procedure works and what to look out for if it goes wrong.
do the files remain on the server for all backups?

then made the backup again with result: complete.

Hi Bryle,
what I did is change the setting from monthly to 2 weekly and the number placed on 6 session instead of 2 and the changes saved. The program didn’t ask me to perform authorization again. Then I made the backup after which the error message came.

I’m going to re-authorize again and then see what happens.

I will come back to this.

hij gaat gewoon helemaal naar een ander gedeelte van de website, namelijk naar de laatste single post ipv naar het gastenboek. De knop zegt wel delgelijk “vieuw guestbook” maar je komt dus in de blog uit en niet in de guestbook.
Ik had je ook al een mail gestuurd met de printscreens.
graag kijken wat voor link je onder de knop “vieuw guestbook” hebt gezet.
Je zegt dat ik het bericht nogmaals moet opslaan, maar dat zijn toch entry’s die de gasten achterlaten in de guestbook. Ik ga alleen in de backend om te beantwoorden, niet om hun berichten nogmaals op te slaan, dus deze snap ik niet.
