I also just started another project and yesterday noticed that, after adding my editor-style.css, that the CSS takes effect in the editor BUT, the formats dropdown does not get updated at all. Guessing this is something with the most recent update?

No, I’m not using that function. My client actually added this plugin because she likes the alt text data it provided her when she uploaded her images. They are associated to ACF custom post types and displayed using ACF image display code. Is the papt_getTaxonomyPosts template function necessary?

A-ha! I’m glad to have the mystery solved re: the missing view link.

As I’m actually displaying all of the partners on one page and don’t need to use the single template, this is kind of how I wanted it to behave… They *are* showing up in searches, which is interesting given this setting. But I’d rather redirect visitors to the page they live on vs. redirecting to the home page. So I think I’ll put this set to true but then do my own regex redirect to the partners list page.

It looks like I contacted Admin Columns Pro support on April 5th. The first time I searched for and found the query that included the “WHERE 1=1 AND ((()))” was on April 7th. There were some separate issues with ACP that got resolved by April 12th. However, I continued to have a different (although seemingly related) issue with ACP after that. Some time passed in which my ticket got lost in the support wilderness, but eventually ACP helped figure out that somehow the Search Everything plugin was causing the issue.

Here’s their notes:

“It’s the ‘search everything’ plugin. It always adds the ‘s’ to the query and that causes the the invalid SQL. My first hunch is that this plugin has no reason to add a search query on a filter request. Once that plugin is disabled, all works fine again.

“If I disable Admin Columns and try to filter on a regular WordPress date, it also stops working properly. Maybe you can check that as well? So I would like to conclude that search everything simply oversteps it’s boundary and should only work on the search form and nothing else.”

I had previously deactivated all plugins, but this was before the April 12th fix of a different ACP issue. I should have done so again afterwards to come to this conclusion as well.

In looking at my plugins again, I’m wondering if this could be because I’m likely using legacy ACF plugins — this site was built back when they had a core ACF plugin with add-on plugins for gallery, options, repeater, etc.

I have experienced a similar issue with filtering using Admin Columns Pro. When Search Everything is disabled, ACP works again.
