Any reason you fix the non-pro version but decided not to fix the pro version? Seems backwards.

My site actually has the escaping backslashes here… but the icons don’t work!
It must be something with the new minify CSS they’re pushing in the latest versions. Never works out well.

Pothi is correct. Had this problem just now and actually had more intensive processes timing out because of it. Object caching is the culprit. Thanks Pothi! ??

Tried your fix, nate but when I go to update a post I got a white page of death ??

It DOES actually work, I think.. but updating old posts gives me a white blank page.

Ugh.. love this plugin but really wish I didn’t have to redo EVERY POST draft that gets a title change.

Same problem for me. Slugs don’t update on draft/title changes.
Sometimes I even get blank slugs which really messes up Disqus.

Any solution on this soon?

It still could be BPS if you’ve EVER used it. It leaves the htaccess files even after it’s uninstalled. Try upgrading to the latest version of BPS as the author put out an update 15 min ago.

Make sure the WP-ADMIN htaccess is also on default or deleted from Bulletproof. That’s what fixed it for me. Have since discontinued use of that plugin.

Okay so I figured it out.
Not only do you have to do DEFAULT BPS Mode. You have to (more importantly?) activate Default mode for your wp-admin htaccess file taht BPS creates.

Uninstalling this plugin now.. ??

Yeah there are at least 5 threads on this so I assume the WP gods know all about it. Hopefully we get a fix soon.

Same here. Tried manually updating all files, disabling all plugins, flushing cache and using default theme.
