For anyone reading this in the future – I ended up adding a regular text block beneath the stars which is not ideal because it’s another extra row for the user to scroll through but the CTA is important. I could not stylize it the way I wanted because this required learning CSS which I don’t have the time to.

I guess we can now mark the thread as resolved.

The first one also works, but could it be somehow customized because I want to have the ratings in multiple places on the post? One time they should only display “4.96 from 46 votes” and at other places it should have the Call To Action as well.

Talked to my hosting and they found out that some of my optimization plugins were conflicting with each other.

So I have WP Rocket, WP Asset CleanUp, Flying Images, Flying Scripts, Flying Pages.

The hosting guys disabled everything except WP Rocket and the issue seems to have been fixed now (as you can see?).

I will try to find the particular plugin and option that were creating the conflict and post it here before marking this as resolved, but if I can’t – I will still mark it as resolved eventually.

Anyway, thanks for the help – I’m very pleased.

Hmm, I cleared all cache possible, like every option in WP rocket possible + Cloudflare… I’m at my wits’ end here.

The only other thing I could think of could be some sneaky option in the Asset CleanUp plugin… Any suggestions?

I deactivated “optimize CSS delivery” in WP Rocket.

The other two checkboxes were “combine CSS files” and “Minify CSS files” which I did NOT deactivate.

Cleared cache.

It still doesn’t show up on my end.

This does help and the quality did improve!

For the record: The “Compress images on the fly” option was never enabled before that.

To fix the issue I enabled it and set it to 100%. So I guess there’s still a “default” compression from the CDN, even if the option to compress images on the fly is NOT enabled. ??
