I can’t figure out how to run XAMPP on a mac. Argh.

I never got it working afterall, and eventually gave up, but sometime when I have some time, I’m going to try again with all of your replies.

Then I’ll have to buy a Flickr account so that I can have more than three categories. Oh bother.

I’m also trying to get this working, to no avail. help plz?

For posterity:

It turns out that, somehow, I ended up having two “blogs” in my single database. When I had reinstalled WP, it created new tables in my database, instead of overwriting over my old ones. So it was reading the “WP_” tables. My old posts were under a different prefix. The odd this is, however, that before this whole mess happened, my prefix was wp. How it changed, have no idea. But it’s working again, praise the lord =P

Was just a matter of enabling the plug-in again. Still only showing a single (incorrect) post, however.

Some things, like my categories, my admin password, my links, are saved. But the posts and comments aren’t, plugins got uninstalled…

Kubrick is a much prettier starting point for most users. But the fact that you can easily switch back to the so-called ‘classic’ template sort of rules out any complaints..

wtf? I just sat back down, refreshed one last time, and… it’s now working….

bleh.. Meh… Thanks though, apparently just switching from includes to ‘get_’s solved it all. Strange.
