I was eventually directed to an ‘expert’ who was excellent and helped me sort out the problem. She really knew her stuff. Thank you.

OK thank you, perhaps it is my router then as I am in Spain but my UK friend can now see the site.

I have just tried to report my problem there and get the following message
en.forums.wordpress.com took too long to respond. I have reset my router, and still the same. Does that mean wordpress.com is having problems?

This righted itself for a very short time about an hour ago but now the problem seems to be getting worse, I can now not get to my secondary blog. So can′t connect to either through wordpress. Does anyone have any suggestions?
