I tried this fix, but it’s not working for me. PLEASE UPDATE THE PLUGIN!! I really like this plugin, but I really need the splash image to only display once to each visitor.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Post Ratings] [Plugin: Post Ratings] Conflict with "Pages Posts" pluginI discovered that the “Rating-Widget Plugin” works much better. It does not conflict with “Pages Post” at all. I love it.
I’m sorry that this plugin didn’t work for me. If you guys fix it up, let me know ’cause I really liked yours.

In reply to: [Post Ratings] [Plugin: Post Ratings] Conflict with "Pages Posts" pluginWell, since I haven’t really gotten an answer or been able to fix it myself, I’m just going to have to drop this plugin. It was really great on the posts, but it just looks horrible with post excerpts.
If anyone knows of a solution, please let me know.

In reply to: [bbPress] Change bbPress Plugin ThemeHere’s what it looks like right now on Twenty Eleven:
Anybody have any ideas on how to edit the theme of this stupid thing! I’m getting really close to just deleting it and trying to get something else to work.
Thanks!

In reply to: Looking for a forum solution. Any advice?Well, to be honest, I haven’t had a whole lot of experience in this area. I do know that bbPress seems to be a little weird when it comes to colors and such. If you’re already using the Twenty Ten theme, then it works great. I love it. Check out this site I built:

On my main site, I use Twenty Twelve not Twenty Ten. I’m trying to get it to look somewhat decent. Right now it looks horrible.
As to functionality, I really like bbPress. It’s great. Themeing is a little weird though.

In reply to: [SOPA Blackout] [Plugin: SOPA Blackout] Thanks!Same here! I was concerned that other anti-SOPA plugins would mess up our SEO stuff that we have worked so hard to boost up there. Looks like yours won’t affect that at all! Thanks so much!

P.S. Looks like all the settings work. I ran a test and everything looks great.

In reply to: WTF?? Locked out of site after adding adminAs a preventive measure next time, could you install the User Role Editor plugin, create a new role, and allow only the stuff that person needs? You could deny the privileges of changing user’s information, if that’s what they did.
Anyway, that’s what I’d do. I wouldn’t want somebody to be allowed to do EVERYTHING on my site. I really like the User Role Editor plugin for that reason.
Cheers!

In reply to: RSS feedAs far as I know, it’s always at the address Ipstenu mentioned above: https://website.com/feed/ or in your case: https://ruthiespoonemore.com/feed/
There are plugins and widgets that can make links to your RSS feed for you. I am useing the Twenty Eleven theme which (I’m pretty sure) came with an RSS feed widget which I’ve placed at the bottom of my sidebar.
TO view different RSS feeds, I would just use Firefox (or another browser with a similar capability) and check out the little RSS feed button at the top. It will show you which feeds you can subscribe to. For example on your home page I found two feeds I can subscribe to:
https://ruthiespoonemore.com/feed/
https://ruthiespoonemore.com/comments/feed/You could grab a plugin like “Simple RSS Feeds Widget” and throw all your RSS feed URLs into that. Although this particular widget advertises other RSS feeds, you should just be able to delete all those and stick yours in there.
Just a thought!

In reply to: Can't Edit Certian Plugin Settings after 3.3 UpgradeHa ha… Never mind. I just fixed it.
I looked around here and have been noticing that if you disable all the plugins, the seem to work when you enable them again. I did that and, as far as I can see, everything works!
Thanks DrewAPicture for your willingness to help. Yes, I have a administrator role. I had even created a TestAccount and used the User Role Editor plugin to enable the account to do anything. The problem still occurred!
For some reason, disabling and enabling ALL the plugins seems to fix this error.
Hope this helps someone else!
