Hi Chris – what version of the plugin are you currently using? Have you done a conflict check by turning off all other plugins?
Thanks for reaching out! If that isn’t appearing, you can use this snippet to add your currency code: https://help.ithemes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052352234-Registering-Currency-Codes
(Note: The documentation is for the Pro version, but this step will work with the free version as well.)
I see Stripe mentions Restrict Content Pro – are you using Pro? If so, you can turn on reCAPTCHA right away on that registration form.
It certainly sounds like your best bet would be trying another plugin for your content, then – as I said, we are unable to replicate this nor have we had additional reports of it happening.
You could also try switching payment gateways if you feel Stripe isn’t the best one for you.
To be honest, I’m baffled as to why these attempts are happening if you are using Cloudflare.
I would suggest putting your entire site into maintenance mode, and then working to update security.
We haven’t had any additional reports of this happening, and Restrict Content certainly doesn’t create spam attempts – so I am not sure why you feel the plugin is to blame for your site being targeted.
With your site in maintenance, you can certainly switch to try other membership plugins to restrict content if you’d like.
I suggest working with Stripe to resolve the issue, if your CDN isn’t solving it and your host isn’t able to give you additional measures to limit this.
You can also search for ways to implement reCAPTCHA on your site. With that many spam attempts, I would definitely recommend running a good security plugin – a paid version, of which there are many out there.
If you are running into lots of spam attempts on your server, I recommend looking into some form of CDN to help cut back on those. Your host may have additional suggestions as well.

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Restrict Content] Plugins conflictThanks for your question! We aren’t aware of any plugin conflicts between those (I’m running Popup Maker on my own site without issue).
Have you done a full conflict check with switching to a default theme, deactivating all plugins except Restrict Content, and reactivating one by one?

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Restrict Content] [restrict] shortcode no longer worksDoes that test user have a membership level in Restrict Content, or even just added as a customer?
The subscriber user role in WordPress won’t show content unless they are also assigned a membership level or added as customers in Restrict Content.

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Restrict Content] Membership upgrade/downgradeThank you for clarifying your use case! We are looking into this now with the development and project marketing teams ??
Hi Akira,
The userlevel currently works if the person accessing the page is a Restrict Content customer, rather than a WordPress user.
I’m running this by our developer to see if we should update how that works, but either way, I want to make the documentation a bit more robust!

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Restrict Content] [restrict] shortcode no longer worksCan you please give me an example of how you are using the shortcode, exactly?
For instance, I tested this on a site:
[restrict message="Y'all really should sign up to see this"] Here's some stuff [/restrict]
And it shows the message to non-logged in users, or non-members, but the inner content to folks who should have access.
I used the shortcode block to create this.
