    Thanks so much for all your help, easy when you know how! Thanks for sharing your knowledge ??

    That link was perfect marviepons, right on the button;
    ‘ Navigation Bars

    Some themes have a top navigation bar containing links to Pages. By default most themes set “Home” as a link to the home page – in this case the static front page. Since you have created a separate page with the title “Home”, there is a likelihood of having two “Home” links in your menu.

    To remedy this, edit the appropriate template file featuring the code of the navigation bar with the template tag wp_list_pages. In 99.9% of WordPress themes, this is the header.php file. Set the parameters to change the link title. In some cases, commenting (disabling) or removing the the line in the theme’s code that displays the ‘Home’ link will do the trick. ‘

    Thanks guys. I tried that Sandra but then there were 2 home pages, it seems there is an auto home page not listed in the ‘all pages’.

    I’ll try that link Marviepons.

    Thank you.

    I see those options but … on my website the first page is ‘home’ but there is no ‘home’ listed on my dashboard in ‘all pages’, so therefore when I go to Settings, Reading, drop down list for static front page, there is no ‘home’ option listed.

    How can I rectify this?

    Aha, great, progress, thank you …

    now the Home page asks me to write a post, I don’t want posts on my home page, just some static text.
    This ‘home’ is not listed in my ‘pages’ on the dashboard. I tried creating another page called ‘home’ to work on but the original home still remains so then there are 2 home pages!

    How to progress?

    Thanks Ronald

    But when I go to ‘check a static page’ the drop down list does not give Home as an option, only FAQ, About Shiatsu and Testimonials.

    Any other suggestions?
