Right, I was able to get wordpress installed, up and running, was able to make posts, install my plugins including wp robot, installed a theme both from my hard drive and from the direct download there. I’m configuring all my affiliate info in my wp robot options now. Check out my site, nothing special at all but it’s working, I’m building on it, and I’ll be giving away free ebooks and stuff every week or so..!

Ok well I’m back now if there’s still anyone here, I have successfully migrated to linux server, got wordpress installed and I can acces my dashboard. I installed a theme from the built in search feature and it went through flawlessly instantly, horah problem solved! Ok well I’m just going to go on over and preview and maybe activate my new theme, wait oh no, now I’m get a ”403 Forbidden” page. It also tells me this:You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have set permissions to 777 on every single file in my directory as you stated above HF T but not working, I tried applying the orginal theme back and I’m still getinng 403 forbidden page, so now I get to have even more problems with wordpress before getting my blog up, yay… my website is here

i went to Hosting Control Panel | Databases | MySQL then I saw a single database with the little pencil and X buttons to the right. I clicked the little X button untill it was done pending and completely removed, then went to stich hosting. now that is pending.

Ok cool, thank you so much, I deleted my single database but not through the ”manage via php my admin” option woops :(….. it’s already in the process of changing servers, did I screw it up??

Hm, and by wipe my directory HF T I go to the ”my sql” under the ”databases” tab within the godaddy honsting control panel. Then I delete the existing databse in which mine is called ”hostname 5.0” or something like that. So I delete it, and then after switching to new server create a new database before or after installing wordpress again??

Ok thanks all and govpatel I will contact you if I need further more intense assistance thank you very much for offering your services and time for free > I will swipe everything from my root directory and database then I will switch to Linux server and start anew, If I run into the same problem as mentioned in my first post again I’ll let everyone, know. THANKS AGAIN!!

by the way my wordpress dashboard login and password is totally different than my godaddy hosting login information, so just incase someone locks me out of my own wordpress dashboard, I’ll just swipe it all off my server and start over AGAIN. So only people really wanting to help me send me a message.
