I’m sorry to hear you are still having issues, without seeing your dashboard or trying things directly on your website I don’t think I will be able to help you.

One last possibility, do you have the Jetpack plugin installed? My plugin and theirs uses the same shortcode but even then it shouldn’t be able to display the player on your website.

Thank you for trying out Soundcloud is Gold. Unfortunately, with so little information it’s hard for me to help you. The whole website is down!

Have you tried deactivating the plugin and see if it makes a difference? If not I would suggest turning off all plugins and see if your website works again. If it does, reactivate them one by one until you find the one that breaks your site.

That’s so weird, I wish I could recreate your problem.

You can uninstall and reinstall the plugin from the plugin section in your dashboard. First click deactivate. Once done, there will an option to delete. Reinstall using the add new plugin option in your dashboard and search soundcloud is gold

The auto-play on mobile might be a Soundcloud limitation as auto-play is managed by them.

For the audio level, that’s an interesting idea, but it would have to be done through Javascript maybe, I’m not sure you can do this easily. That said, remember that not all visitors on your website will have their speakers set at the same level, some might be low, some may be off, or high. Sticking with Soundcloud’s default volume may be a safer option. (Obviously just a thought!)

This might sound like a silly question but are you entering the full URL as a username?
You should only enter your username cedricwoo

The plugin doesn’t know your account per say so if you changed your username in Soundcloud it shouldn’t be an issue in the plugin.

UPDATE:

I remembered that the mini player wasn’t removed but it’s triggered by changing the player height to 20px or less. You can achieve that by adding a class to your player and then changing the iframe height using CSS.

for example:

.mySpecialPlayerClass iframe{
height: 20px;
}

Unfortunately, looping would either need Soundcloud to create this feature or use some extra JS to make it happen.

The smaller player was removed but I just founded out that they brought it back but only for pro accounts. So I think I will need to update the plugin to reflect people’s account’s type.

Hi,

I’ve just tried your username in my test environment and your latest track is showing in the plugin admin Preview. Also, all your tracks are showing in the pop-up window when inserting tracks in a post.

Have you managed to fix this issue? Did you switch your tracks to public maybe?

This looks quite weird as the plugin doesn’t specify the URL and will use HTTPS or HTTP depending on your setup.

The plugin uses wp_register_script which handles that kind of things.

Could it be an issue in your setup? If not, I would love to know more about this issue.
