I have activated the plugin temporarily as I do not want to leave the site looking like this. Link Please let me know when you have seen it as I would like to deactivate until I can fix this.

I used the contact form there and didn’t receive an answer.

In the Publish section, it says it is public. Is there somewhere else to set this? And do I have to hit Publish to use the code given to embed the slider on a post?

I don’t think it needs a video. The slideshow appears on the browser I use for WordPress and not in any others, including three on my computer and I have had an external confirmation. Here is an image that shows the problem. The left browser is Opera and I use it for WordPress, the right one is Chrome.

When I check it in the media library, it has dimensions of 700×306. It’s a featured image so I don’t resize it. It doesn’t look like I can upload an image, but this is it, right out of the media library – https://spirer.com/images/featurentmimage.jpg

I tried this. Now the distortion is gone. However, one image insists on showing up as square instead of in the original proportions. I checked and re-set the image size to make sure. I also cleared cache at my host, my CDN, and locally and tested in several browsers.

I will wait for the update. The WP install is standard, I use the SmartMag theme.

I don’t see any way to upload an image here, but what I have is Display post featured image? Checked. Size of thumbnail – Thumbnail. Width 120 Height 75. Use aspect ratios of original images? Checked. If I try to change the width and/or height, it just springs back when I save.

Never mind. Had to clear the cache in the CDN.

Never mind, created a new form instead of figuring out why it was broken. Works now.

It seems to have been a GoDaddy issue although they claimed it was Jetpack. I accelerated a move to another host (InMotion) and it works fine there. I’m going to take it live there today so it won’t be an issue.

Thanks for taking a look, hopefully it was tied to the host and not JetPack.

Similar messages are turning up from other areas. For example, someone tried to post and got multiple error messages like:

Thank you very much, I appreciate the quick response and the terrific theme.

I love the theme but I’d like to remove the flourishy image that ends every post. I’m no CSS expert and I can’t find any way to remove it in the tools. Anyone that can help on this?
