I tried that but unfortunately no response…It’s just a wierd problem with the widget (I’m sure it’s easy to fix!) – I’ve raised that in another post, though.

Fixed. It was caused by the “related posts” widget when no related posts were found.

Hi jabecker: Well, applying a display: inline; to the comments section *almost* works – except the first line of text in the first box is still pushed over (damnit!.

Trying to apply this to the H2 value makes everything go wierd!

Actually, managed to fix it. Went for a default theme and looked at the CSS file – I’d forgotten to put margins around my navigation.

Thanks Cajebo – I haven’t managed to fix it, but you’re bang on the money. If I remove the .alignleft from the “previous_post”, the title is correctly aligned.

My problem though is that now the “previous post” link is (of course) center aligned – d’oh!

Any ideas? I’m sure it’s a very simple problem, but I’m a dunce ??

anyone have any ideas how to accomplish this? – the change from /index.php/archives/%postname%/ to something along the lines of /%postname%/ ?

Do you need the margins and the padding? You’re specifying a width, so maybe not.

Also you could try positioning with top: 50px or whatever.

I hate it when that happens.

Usually a margin: 0 clears it all up.

how about if I went to just having /%postname%/ ?

You’re right. Only the domain hadn’t fully transferred to the new server, so *sometimes* resolved as the old one.

I resolved this by adding “margin: 0” to the tags.
