In reply to: [Menu Item Visibility Control] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';'Good news, I found the problem… ??
Turns out that if you use PMPro that memoria ticket system will mask errors. I disabled Memoria ticket system and then it exposed an issue, on one menu item, with the PMPRO logic I was using for paid areas.
Sorry for the false alarm!

In reply to: [Menu Item Visibility Control] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';'I realize I said it had a menu to being with – I was a bit confused on the support plugin. I apologize for the mistake… I have been testing a couple and got confused. The one causing the error only uses shortcode on existing pages.

In reply to: [Menu Item Visibility Control] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';'No menu item, under Appearance->Menu’s is using that plugin for any kind of conditional test. Only is_user_logged_in() == true/False and some PMPRO logic for paid areas.
I am not using a ; in any of my conditions.
The other plugin did not have a menu item, it uses shortcode within an existing page – so I am a bit unsure what this plugin is looking up that would be able to reference that plugin.
I did not notice that the subject line got truncated… Here is the whole error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in /XXXXX/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/menu-items-visibility-control/init.php(97) : eval()’d code on line 1
Users already exist in the site, but not in PMPro… Is more of an exercise in manual editing the user levels on the WP side. ??
Resolved ??
Now just need to find out how to import existing users and assign levels… ??
Nice… Great find and solution… This is perfect.
So is the usage just as simple as the Level ID joined with OR (if you need multiple levels to have access) or did you find it a bit more challenging than that?
pmpro_hasMembershipLevel() == 1 OR pmpro_hasMembershipLevel() == 2 OR pmpro_hasMembershipLevel() == 3
I am interested in hearing about the custom code. Has anyone done this? The menu’s are the hiccup for me right now… Here is the example (assume 2 levels: Level 1 & Level 2):
No login Menu:
Welcome::Demo::Terms::About::YadaYadaLevel 1 Login:
Welcome::Level 1 Menu Items::Terms::About::YadaYadaLevel 2 Login:
Welcome::Level 1 Menu Items::Level 2 Menu Items::Terms::About::YadaYada
OR
Welcome::Level 2 Menu Items::Terms::About::YadaYadaIs this possible?
I used a different plugin to do this, but the subscription options were not near what I needed, so I have to change. This is all that I think is missing from this plugin to be a totally complete solution for a website… Awesome plugin so far – just the menu’s might be a deal breaker for me…

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Issue with feed validation and usageDue to the fail on the validation, it will not download anything into the db for that rss (desired I am sure)… How long until the validation is updated so that it will resume the use of that rss?
On the css, I did use the “Save Templates and CSS” – hence why I assumed it would not get overwritten when I restored. It saved the php file and gave me a snazzy template to choose in the drop down, but did not save the css as well. It might be what you meant to say vs what I understood it to mean thing. Basically, I need to hard code my template css into the file for it to not get written over.
Thanks! By the way, I do like the plugin a lot. The supplied templates made all the difference. I did not have time to learn to template a plugin the way I needed it when I was looking for something – yours were simple and easy to understand and change… Good work!

In reply to: [Innovative] BXSlider On Innovative Theme IssueFound the issue, it was actually not a theme issue – it was a conflicting plugin. I need to report that to the plugin developer. I had turned them all off, so I had thought… Turns out I missed this one somehow… Sorry for the alert… LOVE the theme!

Now I just need to remember how I was putting template code into the title. It has been so long that I forgot how I did it…
