  • Doesn’t matter – you still can’t change it. I had one that was like that, having been disabled and giving me a 404. I set it back up and now I just that sites ADMIN panel. No way to remove it from my global (WP.COM) account or change anything for that mater on the global account. My guess is that it has to do with the Sexy Stats update that was done on WP.Com last Thursday. Supposedly, a few hours ago, someone was working on the problem. I have to wonder how long it takes to roll back some code. I am guessing the length of time suggests that the database is mucked up too…

Gozza – I think your issue is different then the one originally posted. WordPress.com Stats is all screwed up as of this morning. Redirecting to logins, old sites, and loops to logins. I am guessing a Sexy WPStats update on Thursday for the WordPress.Com folks is the culprit.

Same here… though slightly different, as mine redirects back to an old stand alone blog for authentication in the stats windows. That blog was turned off months ago and has not been active in that time frame. Did a little reading and looking around over on WordPress.Com and it would appear a LOT of people are having the problem. Supposedly being worked on.

A bit more research says that stats over on the WP.com go a sleek and sexy new look last Thursday. Though, personally from what I have seen and read I don’t think it is sleek, nor all that sexy. Regardless, I bet this change is what has caused this issue.

My site upgraded, but the plug ins did not reactivate. Everything is good otherwise, but it was annoying to realize that they were inactive and have to activate them myself. Good work so far on the tool though.
