I used admoment’s suggestion above – deleting through the plugin doesn’t work. You need to go into the db & delete it there. Unfortunately, you’ll delete everything. Be sure to document ALL the crons you created so you can re-create them. We only had a couple, so other than the minor heart attack of deleting something directly in the db & hoping you didn’t screw things up, it went ok.

I believe it was the perfect storm of updates AND switching themes that did me in. So I’ll add that back into my list. Thanks again

Oooh – thank you for this! I probably did & some other update probably wiped it out. thanks for the direction. I’ll post again if I discover anything else funky.

I should also mention – notes the customer writes to us DO display. Just not the notes I write to the customer, even when they are flagged appropriately.

A little more info.

The cronjob I’m trying to delete says it’s running now, for reasons unknown to me.

When I change the date of this cronjob to a date in the future, the plugin creates ANOTHER cronjob with that start date in the future. It keeps the original job that says it’s running now.

I can delete the cronjob that’s set into the future with no problem.

So I need to know: 1. how do I delete a job that’s running now? 2. if that’s not possible, is there any way to delete a job that’s running now?

I too have a job I’d like to delete, the plugin appears to tell me I’ve deleted it, and yet there it is, always at the top of my list of jobs.

total number of jobs: 26
total php jobs: 3 (one of which is a duplicate job I’m trying to delete)

Other jobs running at the same time – I suppose Yes because the job I’m trying to delete ALWAYS indicates that it’s running ‘now’ even though it’s a once daily job & indicates it’s next scheduled run is in 11/2017.

Does the problem happen every time – I suppose as it’s the only one I’ve tried to delete & been completely unsuccessful.

I wouldn’t care but I think it actually is running on occasion so I can’t really figure out when these files are really downloading.

We actually went a slightly different route with shipping, but I believe I did figure it out before we went live. It was how I had input each item & the envelopes. I didn’t realize I needed to enter the maximum width of an envelope in order to get the calculation. Makes sense, but for me it wasn’t intuitive. Once I did that, things started working normally.

So maybe in the documentation/notes you could mention that?

Nope. Had no effect.

Yep, same problem here – I can only see priority, not first class. Based on the weight & size of what I’m trying to order, the system SHOULD be able to tell that my order can fit into a First Class large envelope. Instead I just get Flat Rate.
