In reply to: Screwy Upgrade from 2.3.2 to 2.7. Help!!did you make a database backup before you did the upgrade?
if so, you could use phpmyadmin (or whatever) to restore that, you may have a data-base half-way through the 2.3 to 2.7 update.
After putting 2.7 on, did you go to wp-admin and get the
“you need to update your database” message?Did you press the button to do that?
If not, your update uh, “didn’t”
when doing an update that is this big a jump, I always suggest pretty much deleting the 2.3 install, rather than doing the 2.7 over the top and then put the 2.7 files in, get the database update done, then re-install your plugins.
(of course, you don’t delete your upload or media folders…..)
Anyway, basically, you’re likely to need to “try again.”

In reply to: Events CalendarNone that I know of.
You could make a public GOOGLE CALENDAR and then use one of the google calendar plugins to DISPLAY that on the blog with a link to the public gcal add page….

In reply to: Custom post for event calendarin the EC3 control page, make sure you have “keep events seperate” chosen.
EC3 does what you are asking about “out of the box.”
unless I mis-understood what you’re asking.
You will, by the way, get MUCH FASTER TURNAROUND at the EC3 support email list.
Rick
just keep hitting the [+] on the event-calendar on the post and adding days….
EC3 currently does not support “repeating events” but you can add as many days as you would like to the event.

In reply to: Using WP Calendar outside of WpDamon’s right. EC3 will produce an ICAL feed. You can use any of the various javascript ical libraries to display the results of that on your homepage.

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] List Events Widget hover problemURL Please???
This has to do with the
- tags in your css for your style for the sidebar.
There’s certainly a way to do it, but it would help to actually be able to see the text and css.
So, URL Please… also, posting to the EC3 support email list gets faster responses than here. We do patrol this, but only intermittantly. Primary support for EC3 is through the email list.

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] How to center the month in calendarURL Please? and consider posting your question to the EC3 support email list… We _do_ look here, but the email list gets faster replies.
the default is _not_ left-justified, the default is centered. You have something ((( Probebly the wp-calendar tag in your style.css) that is left-justifying it. )))

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Error on “Write” Page in WP 2.3.2a patch for 2.3 compatibility to 3.1.4 was recently posted to the mailing list. Check the ec3 home page for the link.
It’s a one-line mod to ec3.
Why have you not upgraded your wordpress?

In reply to: Podpress and the current WPThe problem is of course, that unless Dan shows up, someone _else_ will need to step up to the plate and fork it.
But that takes a “real” php programmer.
Any volunteers?
