In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Custom Product Permalinks Break Post PermalinksThis has been plaguing me forever!
The statement on the bug page that this simply shouldn’t be allowed is ridiculous.
To be able to have something as simple as “/%product_brand%” for the Product Permalink and “/%postname%/” for the Post permalinks should be a no brainer and absolutely work.
Just about every other cart offers this ability.
So is it official that nothing will be done about this?

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Super-cache files being removedI am having the same issue despite having the same settings. My cache files are randomly vanishing when they shouldn’t be. Still trying to figure out a pattern/cause.
I’m running on Nginx, woo, bunch of plugins for woo, autoptimize, etc.
You figure anything out @oakley56fila ?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to create more than 50 variations for executionThis is not resolved whatsoever, more like a compromise. I have same issues. I NEED many variations, 300+, all with their own sku and price. Woocommerce comes to a halt with over 50. The ANY “solution” does not work for exclusions. Example:
In the T-Shirt scenario above sizes S,M,L are used. On one site we need s,m,l,xl,xxl, xxxl, xxxxl and several garment styles and colors many of which DO NOT come in XXL, XXXL, and XXXXL.
The only way to exclude as far as I can tell is to have all possible variations explicitly entered, which is correct for accounting as well. This way ordering a garment that doesn’t come in XXXL would not be possible. It would be possible in the ANY scenario.
So, again there is no solution for ACTUALLY needing more than 50 variations. And yes, server has 32gb ram, php and mysql optimized, max inputs set, etc. etc.
Fact is woocommerce looks like it just fails with many options and can’t handle it.
Anyone? Would love to be proven wrong ??

Adaptive payments please! ?? I have two sites built and ready just sitting waiting for adaptive payments to be implemented like all the other marketplace plugins. Can’t wait, love the work you’ve done on this plugin so much, it has almost everything we require. With adaptive payments implementation it will be number one hands down!

PS Thanks a bunch to the devs at DualCube for this! If it hasn’t been said before, WCMP truly is a great plugin with the best backend for merchants. I struggled for a year with WPMU Marketpress and it was a complete waste of time with a disastrous product that had so many bugs and devs that did not care at all about customer input. They would constantly release versions that would destroy the previous one. No backend to speak of either. It’s a different style plugin designed for multisite but still it was terrible. Best decision I made was to switch those two sites to WC Marketplace and ditch the multisite model. Sorry for rambling, just my two cents while waiting for Adaptive Payments ??

In reply to: [WP ULike - All-in-One Engagement Toolkit] Dislike button?I second Krang. I love this plugin because it is solid, simple, and gets the job done. That’s why I use it. The only thing I would love added would be a dislike or even better the ability to add a number of different buttons (angry, excited, etc.) Great plugin!

In reply to: [Imsanity] [Suggestion] Make JPEG Image Quality Apply to Any SizeForgot to mention that in that scenario some files will be “double” compressed and might suffer some real quality loss. I suggest perhaps to keep IM’s setting in the 80+ range and crush with WP down to like 60 depending on your goals. That would be perfect for like a buddypress activity stream to reduce image uploads from users.

In reply to: [Imsanity] [Suggestion] Make JPEG Image Quality Apply to Any SizeAs I understand it, Imsanity does it’s thing before it hands the file off to wordpress. So, here is my suggestion. Consider this:
Uploaded file within parameters is caught by Imsanity
File is compressed with Im’s settings (let’s say 70)
File is then handed to WP for further processing using WP media settings with WP’s compression setting. If I am correct about IM’s workflow (just started using this plugin) then you can use this filter in your functions or plugin to alter WP’s own compression settings.
add_filter( 'jpeg_quality', create_function( '', 'return 70;' ) );
Now, I assume between the two settings you’re covered with IM handling initial image caught by parameters and WP handling the rest with that setting. Perhaps the dev can confirm.
Hope this helps ??

Outstanding to hear! Thanks for the reply.
Adaptive Payments please! I’ve just spent some time setting up this plugin on two sites only to find out the same as mojomo.
I would rather have a chained payment situation as I think most marketplace owners would as well where money goes to marketplace owner and vendor at same time with respective percentages and/or fees applied. This would be ideal situation.
PayPal’s requirements for MassPay and the fact that it is this plugin’s sole choice make this a difficult situation.
Any idea on when/if adaptive payments will be supported? Chained payments would take this plugin to a whole new level. It already is the best marketplace plugin by far, just needs a couple more things ??
