I am also have screen shaking issues as of this afternoon. Happened right after updating the Kadence theme.

It was a plugin conflict. Footer Javascript — This plugin automatically moves JavaScript code to page footer, speeding up page loading time. By Vladimir Prelovac — was causing the close link to be lost in NextGen and a similar issue in another plugin, which is now fixed.
