Thanks for your reply. As you suggested, I tried turning off every plugin, one by one, then caching/refreshing each time, but nothing changed; the prices of the products were not displayed, unless I clicked on the ‘Quick View’ option.

I don’t think it’s a theme issue, because it used to display the products prices, without clicking on the ‘Quick View.’ So it remains a mystery.

Yes, I have the same question, but can’t find any answer. Was this topic resolved?

Okay, I figured out how to remove the space between the title and the tabs on my shop page, but I still need help with linking the tabs, if anyone would be so kind.

Ah, I see! Well, thanks a lot, once again, for that further clarification. Being new at all of this, I feel insecure at every step, wondering if I’ve messed things up or not. It really helps to have some mentoring.

That has already happened, I’m afraid, with a slider that I made; the buttons are no longer working when I’m in maximum-sized screen, but they work fine, when I’m in a minimized screen, and I haven’t the foggiest idea as to why; been that way for three weeks, now, and I’m stuck. But then that’s another story. I can’t get help with that on this site, as I understand it, since it’s a bundled plugin (Revolution Slider).

Well, as stated, I really appreciate your time and trouble in helping me.

Hi James. Thanks for that clarification; I appreciate it.

So, from what you said, it seems that the “Shop” page is the WooCommerce store’s front page, and not the page which I designated as “Home Page.”

Does that mean customers will not see my “Front Page,” when visiting my site? If so, that would be strange, as they would not see the Revolution Slider that I have set up or any of the other stuff, such as “Featured Products” on my home page.

Okay, thanks for that, Steve. I got called away from my website effort by another issue that demanded my immediate attention. Once again, I want you to know that I appreciate your time and trouble in helping me.

It appears to me that I need to reduce the padding on that page, by inserting the code you sent; however, as stated in my original post, I don’t really know how to do any of that. Actually, I don’t even really know what ‘padding’ is, but assume it’s kind of like a margin that’s added around a given element on the page.

Following your advice, I went to the Chrome Developer Tools and have begun to work my way through their tutorials.

I will first have to try to find the customizer and the “Additional CSS” option.

Okay, I just went in and delete the maintenance plugin altogether, then refreshed the caches. I hope that works.

I sure appreciate your sticking with me on this problem, as I don’t know what to do.

Arrgh! Sorry about that. Okay, I just went and deactivated the plugin; I hope that does it.

Thanks for trying to help me!

Okay, well, thanks for that info. I only wondered because I just wanted to fix a mistake in my post, but couldn’t see how to go back and do it. Most forums have a little “Edit” button that you can click, in order to correct misspellings, grammatical errors, etc., but I couldn’t find one for this forum. It’s certainly not a big deal and I’m not complaining, because this forum is great and very helpful, especially for those who are new to WordPress, like myself. I was just wondering if I was just not seeing something.

    Thanks again.

How do you edit a reply, anyway?

Thanks, bcworkz, for that good advice and encouragement. It’s comforting to know that I’m staying pretty safe by using FTP, so I guess that I’m going to have to learn about it, too. I have already followed HudsonValleyWebDesign’s advice had have begun learning HTML via the Codecademy’s lessons, which are well-organized.

    You guys are great!

Thanks for that advice, which all sounds good!

Providing those links will especially be helpful. I will definitely check each one of them.

I have read so many times that you can totally break a website by messing around with CSS code, so now I’m afraid to try anything. However, yesterday, I think that I found a way to undo any mistakes/bad revisions made on a WordPress website, so maybe I will now be a little less fearful to try some things. I’m not so sure that it works, though, so it’s still a bit scary.

Hi kjodle, thanks for the reply. Well, I guess that I should’ve mentioned that I am already using a Shopkeeper child theme.

So you’re saying that I should contact the Shopkeeper support team?

    (@rayzen1)

Hi Kjodle. Thank you for your time and effort, in helping me.

Well, being a newbie, I’m not sure just where I’m working, sad to say. While developing the four or five pages that I had done, I was actually wondering if they were somehow going out onto the internet, hoping all the while that they were not. I’m still not sure just how to work on the website, without actually making it appear on the internet. Is there a way to save my work, without actually publishing in ‘out there’ in cyberspace?

Hi, thanks for your time and help.

No, as stated, I had only created about four or five pages, all of which had disappeared. I had not created any of the new ones. As I said in one of my guesses as to what might have happened, perhaps the new pages are just ‘dummy’ pages that are really a part of either the WooCommerce plugin or the Shopkeeper theme; however, being a newbie to all of this, I don’t know how to determine if that’s true or not.
