In reply to: [WooCommerce] ‘Shop Page’ Category Images Too LargeHi Lorro. Thank you for your help.
I’m not sure what you meant, when you said ‘first row,’ but I followed this path:
Dashboard > Pages > All Pages > Choose Your Sport (Shop Page) > Edit > Classic Mode, then I saw the following, which is what I think you meant, but am not sure:
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][product_categories orderby=”title” order=”ASC” columns=”5″ number=”28″ ids=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Does that help?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Need Recommendations Re. How to Import ProductsHi Yogesh. Thank you very much for that link; it looks like a virtual gold mine for someone like myself, who is just learning WooCommerce. I will definitely look at all of those video tutorials.
However, I didn’t see any video that relates to the task of importing products via a CSV file and a spreadsheet, such as Excel. If it’s there and I’m just not seeing it, could you please point me to it?
Thank you again for your help.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Need Help With Picture Sizes On My Woocommerce ‘Shop’ pageHi Lorro.
Thanks again for helping me. I really appreciate it.
In trying to follow the path you outlined, I went to:
Dashboard > Appearance > Customise…but then there was no ‘Additional CSS‘ option offered. Instead, there was the option ‘Custom Code,’ which seemed to be close, so I clicked on it. That opened up a whole bunch of code. Is this what you were referring to, when you used the term ‘page markup?’ (Sorry for being ignorant about the technical stuff) I looked at that code very carefully and was not able to see any mention of wp-custom-css, as you mentioned.
I turned off all of the plugins, as you said, then looked again, but all of that code didn’t change. Actually, I’m not really sure if looking for ‘wp-custom-css’ in all of that code is what you really meant for me to do, since some of the terms you use are foreign to me, not being well versed in IT language.
Here is what I found in that section of code:
.site-header.sticky {
/*-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 10px 128px -36px rgba(0,0,0,0.9); -moz-box-shadow: 0px 10px 128px -36px rgba(0,0,0,0.9); box-shadow: 0px 10px 128px -36px rgba(0,0,0,0.9);*/ -webkit-box-shadow: 0px 4px 63px -32px rgba(0,0,0,0.9); -moz-box-shadow: 0px 4px 63px -32px rgba(0,0,0,0.9); box-shadow: 0px 4px 63px -32px rgba(0,0,0,0.9); } nav.show-for-large-up.main-navigation.default-navigation.align_left { margin-top: 7px; margin-bottom: 7px; }.vc-box-shadow {
-moz-box-shadow: -2px 2px 81px -27px rgba(0,0,0,0.29);
-webkit-box-shadow: -2px 2px 81px -27px rgba(0,0,0,0.29);
box-shadow: -2px 2px 81px -27px rgba(0,0,0,0.29);
}.upper a {
text-transform: uppercase !important;
font-weight: bold !important;
font-family: NeueEinstellung;
margin-top: 35px !important;
font-size: 13px !important;
}@media only screen and (min-width: 1024px) {
.site-header {
padding-bottom: 0px !important;
}
}
.site-branding {
margin-right: 15px;
}
#products-grid span.category_grid_box {max-height:131px;}The very last line, “#products-grid span.category_grid_box {max-height:131px;}” is what you and “super kot” had me put in about a month ago…which fixed the problem then! I have no idea why the problem would have returned like this.
Thank you again. It appears that you are my only hope in fixing the problem.

In reply to: Can’t Log Into My WordPress Website AdminYes, it worked before. The problem started after I tried to install SSL onto my website. I went to CloudFlare, set up a free account, then, after much back-and-forth emails with them, I finally figured out how to change the DNS (Domain Name Servers) to ‘point to’ my BlueHost account. However, after doing that, I could not sign in. When I tried to sign in, it wouldn’t accept my password.
Realizing that, obviously, there was some kind of problem with CloudFlare, I went back and click on their icons (orange-colored clouds) allowing CloudFlare to effectively be bypassed. However, now I am faced with a new problem: When trying to sign in, typing “coles-sports.com” on Google, I am taken to what looks like one of my website’s pages that is displaying a bunch of code. And if I use the shortcut on my desktop which used to take me to my website’s admin page (https://www.coles-sports.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fcoles-sports.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1), I get a login window that won’t accept my password.
I’m totally stuck and discouraged, at this point. Not being knowledgeable in real technical stuff, I don’t know what to do next. Any help would be appreciated more than you know.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageThat’s it!! That did it.
Computers are so unforgiving; one little curly bracket can mess things up.
I can’t tell you how much I really appreciate you guys helping me with that. It doesn’t seem like a big thing, just having a couple of little pictures being a bit larger than the others, but it certainly wouldn’t have looked very professional for an online store’s website.
You and Superkot are good ones.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageI just copied all of the code in that customizer box, including the code which you sent me. I don’t know if it will help. Here it is:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageHi Superkot.
Thanks, again, for your help.
Okay, I did all of that, and here’s the screenshot. I hope that I can past it here:
Arrrgh! It won’t let me paste the screenshot. How do I do that?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageHi Lorro.
Thanks for that. I copied & pasted the code which Superkot gave me, where you suggested, then refreshed the site, but those images still appear larger than the rest.
I also copied and pasted the newly-altered 28 lines of code into that site which you told me about and it verified the code is okay, so I guess there is nothing wrong with that part, anyway.
Thank you for sticking with me, in trying to figure this out.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageHi Lorro. Thanks for joining in to help me; I’m really grateful for you guys.
Okay, I followed your prescribed path: Dashboard > Appearance > Customize…but then there was no “Additional CSS”; instead there was a whole, long list of choices. The only thing in that list which appeared to be close to “Additional CSS” was “Custom Code.” But when I click on that, I get three black boxes, labeled “Custom CSS,” “Header Javascript Code,” and “Footer Javascript Code.” Again, just guessing, but it appears that maybe “Custom CSS” is probably what you mean with “Additional CSS”; dunno though. If it is, indeed, what you meant, then where do I paste in the code “#products-grid span.category_grid_box {max-height:131px;}”? That black box labeled “Custom CSS” has 27 lines of code in it. If that is really where I need to go, do I just paste the new code at the very end of it, in line 27, which is blank?
Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Different Sized Pictures On Woocommerce Shop PageHi Superkot. Thanks for your help!
I was getting discouraged, because nobody was offering any solution to my problem and I don’t really know what I’m doing. Your help is very much appreciated.
I hate to sound like a real pain, but I don’t know how to add that line of code into the site. Could I be so presumptuous as to ask for a step-by-step ‘handholding’ that would lead me through the process? I just got two books from Amazon on CSS and HTML, but it’s going to be a long learning curve, before I get to the place where I’ll be brave enough to do anything like that.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to Display Product Price Without Clicking on “Quick View”Thanks lorro!
I see what you mean. It’s actually there, but is invisible because it matches the background. I will try to find it with Firebug Lite, but not knowing what I’m really doing, I am, at present, afraid to actually go in there and mess with the HTML, so I have already posted a request with the Shopkeeper theme support team to give me a hand, after passing on the root cause of the problem which you have pointed out so helpfully.
Today, I ordered a book from Amazon dealing with learning HTML and CSS, so after a ‘bit’ of studying, I will soon be able to learn enough to maybe go do things that I am currently afraid to do. In reality, what will probably happen is that I will ‘learn just enough to be dangerous,’ as the saying goes.
Thank you again for your very helpful support! You’re a good one.
