You might be less confused if you read the original request. I want to block a pattern where the IP == the hostname, not a single instance.

Yes, I know it’s possible to block specific IPs and specific hosts. Neither of these suggestions satisfies the requirement to block the pattern of IP being used as hostname or as part of hostname.

I noticed today the wpbruiser.com site is back online; it’s been offline for nearly 2 years. Contact form fails to send; can’t speak for whether or not other contact methods work.

Apparently the plugin is now being maintained by W3edge. It may be that they need to resubmit to the repository. Would be nice if they weighed in here to tell us what’s up.

These errors persist (7 weeks later), and wpbruiser.com is not accessible.

Meanwhile, I see no evidence of a response from a WP Bruiser team member on this support forum in more than a year.

Is this plugin still supported? Is there an active WP Bruiser team?
