In reply to: [Visual Slide Box Builder] Upgrade to 3.1.7 failsI cannot show you the problem as I cannot update my live site until I know it will work. My live site URL is https://www.theoneforweb.com.au and that is still using version 1.3.5.
I have a development version of that site which has been updated to version 3.1.8 and the Theme has been changed. My top menu font colour is unaffected on the new theme. I have yet to get a satisfactory Hover Title/Content presentation but this may be due to how I am using the new plugin.
So there is no remaining problem I can report at this stage.
Thanks for your prompt help.

In reply to: [Visual Slide Box Builder] Upgrade to 3.1.7 failsIt looks like problem 1. is related to how it works with Page Builder by SiteOrigin. I will continue to explore this.
I have changed my Theme (to Hestia) and Problem 2. has gone away.

In reply to: [Visual Slide Box Builder] Upgrade to 3.1.7 failsYes, you have fixed the access to the Media Library. However there are still some outstanding issues I am trying to fathom:
1. Hover text Title takes up 50% of the box causing the other content to scroll. It looks ok in the plugin but not when deployed by the short-code (inside Page Builder by SiteOrigin).
2. I am using the Parallax One theme (which I have now discovered is no longer maintained) and when 3.1.8 is activated my Menu Items text colour goes white on white so invisible. If I de-activate my menu is ok.
I will have to change my theme to see if there is a clash.

Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Client user instructions for WP websiteOK I think I have found one answer in that there are plugins out there for importing from CSV and the like.
I was hoping for something a little less IT intensive as this creates more work for me and more cost to the client.
Ideally I need an input form that can be submitted as a batch if necessary. If these exist can you point me in the right direction?

In reply to: Client user instructions for WP websiteThanks that helps me.
One more question though, do you know if there are methods for updating content for sites in bulk.Lets say that I want to generate 50 posts, is there a batch update method I can use?

In reply to: 'Posted By' details toggleThanks again.
Think I might go to the Theme’s authors and see if they have a suggestion. Who knows they may put it in their next update!
I think we are done, appreciate your time on this.

I have never created a Child Theme before but I can see from your link that your changes are unaffected by Theme updates. Can you be sure tho that your child theme will always do what you want it to the next time the parent Theme changes?
So if not you have to weigh whether its worth the hassle of implementing a child theme if it needs testing every time the parent changes.

In reply to: [Black Studio TinyMCE Widget] Frozen WidgetsHi Marco
Thanks for the quick response.
I have followed your advice and am able to report that there is conflict between your plugin and ‘Nextend Image Magnifier’.
I have tried the combination on other themes with the same result.
Hope this helps.Ray
