Ray here with WP eCommerce Support team. After reading up your issue, and focusing on the question that you are bolding, you require a way to create a menu in wordpress menu which contains the products or categories?

If I am on the right page, what you need is the right shortcodes to use.

[productspage] – is the shortcode for products page. In this case if you purchased Gold cart, you can use this to display grid view.

[wpsc_products category_url_name='[categoryname]’] – replace [categoryname] with the slug – This one will display the category.

To use a shortcode, just paste the shortcode into the description area on your page as text.

Have you tried your issue in default WP.org theme with all plugins but WP eCommerce plugin activated?

I bet the devs will really appreciate it!

Ray with Wp eCommerce Support here. Have you set up the Paypal’s IPN correctly? Have you enabled IPN so that paypal can notify your site that a payment went through? Is there hosting settings such as firewall that might prevent such things?

Ray here with WP eCommerce support. While I am not aware that there are changes in the PHP side on category display, it seems that if you can post your issue at https://github.com/wp-e-commerce/wp-e-commerce/issues one of the developer can shine some light on your issue.

Perhaps you can arrange your categories instead?

Let me see if I can describe your issue in a bit more detail here.

You have the following categories and its children

Food -> Italian -> Pizza
-> Spaghetti

You have the following product in Italian : Pasta, sauce
You have the following products in Pizza : peperoni, hawaiian
You have the following products in Spaghetti : aglio olio, bolognaise.

However when you are displaying Italian, you see pasta, sauce, peperoni, hawaiian, aglio olio, bolognaise.

What you want to see is only pasta and sauce?

I think the workaround is to arrange the categories like the following

Food -> Italian Raw Material (pasta, sauce )
-> Italian Pizza (peperoni, hawaiian)
-> Italian spaghetti (aglio olio, bolognaise)
