If I understood it correctly, you want to sort the category page using the id AND put the latest product on top. Perhaps this shortcode is what you are looking for

[wpsc_products category_url_name=’product-category’ sort_order=’ID’ order=’desc’]

notice the sort_order and the order tag.

Yes there is a way to put the notification of the available number of product next to the products name on the pages. However that will require custom code modification. Support consultants are not developers so we won’t be able to help you on code modification. The checkout page refreshing the page because of a few reasons:
1) Your store is not set up properly (in the store settings part of WPeC, this could mean checkout fields / payment gateway configuration)
2) There is a JS conflict somewhere during checkout

I just did a test on WP.org 2014 theme. Please see https://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1184399/Jing/2014-10-09_0622.swf As you can see, All the information is “gone” as in the plugin hides the shipping information. However I still am able to purchase the item as I can get into the transaction results page.

Can you try testing with all plugins but WPeC enabled?

Did you modify your 2014 WPeC theme? If you do, we can’t guarantee compatibility since we don’t know what you modify.

I believe the fedex plugin would only give you the basic shipping. For everything else, you would need to do some code customization.

i will try to answer your question to the best of my ability.

1) This could very well mean that your theme might not be compatible with WP eCommerce. You should speak to your theme developer regarding this issue. Have you try testing in default WP.org theme?

4) Hm I would not know why this happen as I don’t know how your individual product is set up. My question is that are you using WP eCommerce plugin to display the product page? In the products page, do you see [productspage] shortcode?

our plugin uses shortcodes to point the right pages. i am not 100% clear of your problem just yet, but here’s the shortcode for

Product page – [productspage]
Checkout – [shoppingcart]

If you are having the permaink issue, try clicking on save changes on permalink twice.

Like what I was saying, the shipping calculator is currently tied to the WP eCommerce.

Wp eCommerce is an open source software, which means that there are tons of developers contributing on it. This means that sometimes some feature gets updated differently.

Different themes would contribute as well with the compatibility of the Wp eCommerce plugin. Certain themes are fully compatible with older version of Wp eCommerce while others are not.

On another note, do you have a backup of the old version of WP eCommerce plugin? Can you revert to that backup?

I will try to reproduce the issue that you are having, if I could, I will ping our developers with it.
