I have tried it all three ways. Using Global Settings, having only the Member role, and having all roles.
If I set it for Global or All Roles, then the only field that doesn’t display is the email field.
If I set it as being only for the Member, no different.
It doesn’t matter what I set – the email field does not display.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Groups Extras] Members can't see pagesJust to elaborate on the specifics. This is ONLY the pages created by this plugin that is having the issue of restricting.
Every other part of the BuddyPress page is accessible. But the pages created by Groups Extra are asking the person to be a member even when we are already logged in as members.

In reply to: url messed up for non-logged in usersYes I did. I deleted and re-created the .htaccess file under the same assumption you are making. Didn’t matter.
I also tried the permalinks change of settings.
I did a complete search of the database to see if this false address was stored anywhere, and I can’t find it.
Quite puzzling.

In reply to: nav-menus.php hangs and dont finish loading menusThe conversation about this in other places implied that 3.3 would address this. But I just upgraded and the issue has not been fixed yet.
Love this plugin! I have looked for a way to do this without extensive coding, as I use a theme that doesn’t fit the norm for making changes.
Anyway- is there a way to write in the plugin code a maximum number of posts to display?
Some categories have over 100 posts and I want to display only the lat 20 or so.

In reply to: Text widget title displays as link – not set toThis is a standard text widget out of the box from wordpress. I just took over this site, so I am not sure if a previous person wrote some extra-code for widgets, I’ll need to look. I have looked at the two culprits, and there isn’t any code at all set for the title. Just the words. So, that is why I have been puzzled.
The validator will help – so thanks for that idea. I don’t think I would need that for what I thought was a browser issue.
