In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] 504 Time-Out issueHey David
Welcome home again and thanks for the reply! Yep, the querry is only for images and the categories have only images assigned. I think, that makes things easier…
Thanks for your work!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Show Images of a Specic Upload Dateperfect! That fits exactly my needs!!! Thanks for this hint!
hhhmmm… Yea, I can imagine that on every page reload pulling data is a bit too much. anyway, the solution now is not helpful at all and the widget became useless. Probably an other soution, like pulling data only once a day and buffering them locally in wordpress might be a solution.

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] Great PluginThx for reading and replying!
Idea for Improvement:
– sort of galleries according to name, not to ID (e.g. in drop down menu or while moving pictures from one to an other)
– auto-sort of galleries in an album via name, not manuallyForum: Reviews
In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Far Too Many Menu LinksHey Ahmed
First of all, thanks for listening and replying! Thats definetely not the case for all developer!
Some personal thoughts from my side: A WordPress site has two main tasks: configuration of the site and posting content. Basicly, once a site is configurated, the focus is usually on posting content. I don’t reconfigure or tune my site every day, whereas I post new content several times a day.
So having configuration items in the first line of sight (e.g. top admin bar and sub-entry in dashboard) is not useful for me at all and takes away space that can be used for content production.
My personal opinion would be, having all plugin configuration items as sub-entries within the settings area. I totally understand, that popular and important tuning tools may head for a more exclusive place to be found. So it also might be okay having it at the bottom of the side bar, below but on the same level of the settings link (where your link is also located).
Looking forward to the next update
Cheers
Daniel
