In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WordPress Lazy Load vs Litespeed Lazy LoadIt’s already solved.
See the last part of the paragraph here:
When enabled, this setting only loads the images once they are visible in the viewport. The remaining images are only loaded as necessary when they scroll into view. When you turn this option ON, the WordPress core Lazy Load feature is automatically disabled. From https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/pageopt/#lazy-load-images
So I don’t need to disable WP core lazy load manually.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WordPress Lazy Load vs Litespeed Lazy LoadWow. Helpful, yet arrogant.
I actually did Google *and* look at the docs link https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ – but it doesn’t have a single mention of “lazy” (I did search for the word on the page). What I see now that I didn’t notice was that “Configuration” can be expanded and the lazy part is described there. My bad.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WordPress Lazy Load vs Litespeed Lazy LoadSorry, it’s actually a LiteSpeed Cache question. Let me try to rephrase:
If I enable LiteSpeed Cache lazy load, will it disable WordPress built-in lazy load or do I have to do that manually? Or does it not matter if WordPress lazy-load is disabled or not even though LiteSpeed Cache lazy load is enabled?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] WordPress Lazy Load vs Litespeed Lazy LoadThank you ??
If I enable Litespeed Lazy Load, will WordPress built-in Lazy Load need to be disabled? If yes, how?
Thanks so much! ??
I did – and the video is shown on the page (not in WordPress admin/page edit mode). So that’s good ??
But isn’t the explanatory text wrong as it says it’s only the “pretty previews” that enabling it should affect?
Hi Artem,
Thanks for answering.
I’ll like to keep that option as long as I can have the video work at the same time.
Here’s what the tooltip for the option says:
“Embeds were released with WordPress 4.4. This is basically the magic that auto converts your YouTube videos, Tweets, and URLs into pretty previews while you are editing. However, this actually loads a JavaScript file (wp-embed.min.js) on every page of your website. If you don’t care about the auto converting preview (which we don’t), you can disable this across your site.
Clearfy: Removes WordPress Embed JavaScript file (wp-embed.min.js)”So I guess the video should still work with the option enabled as all the enabling should do is disable video preview in the Gutenberg editor?
Best,
RasmusThank yo.
I don’t need to connect the old tag. What should I choose in the dropdown then? Or should I disconnect analytics for now in Site Kit?
Thank you.
BTW; Is my Analytics code inserted by the SiteKit plugin or do I need a different plugin for that?
That did the trick. Thanks very much and thanks for being great at following up! ?? ??
Ok, thanks for letting know ??
Hi James,
Didn’t hear back from you?
Best,
RasmusSure; please try that.
Ah, found the “Available Plugins” option in troubleshooting mode. Still, site kit setup returns the same redirect_uri mismatch message ??
You’re still welcome to get admin user access to my site if that could help?
Best wishes,
RasmusHi James
I did already try disabling all plugins and setup Site Kit after that, but that didn’t work, so I am sure it’s not plugins causing the problem.
Regarding your instructions, I don’t see an “Available Plugins” tab (screenshot) https://jmp.sh/w0GbZ7O
