I am sorry for the inconveniences. But, we thoroughly check all our themes and upload it on WordPress Repository.
I am not sure but the reason might be because of your site infected with the malicious code before switching to the theme. We will be very happy to assist you on this issue. We have a dedicated support team 24/7 to check on this.

We’ve just checked your site and saw that you have not selected Homepage Template.
Recommended size for the slider is ( 1920 x 967 ) not ( 999 x 257 ). It will obviously shrink cause the recommended size is way too bigger than size you are using at the moment.

And please add the following CSS in Additional CSS.

Restaurant and cafe theme uses Fontawesome version 4.7. You can get the list of the icons via https://fontawesome.com/v4.7.0/icons/. Please select only the name and paste it on the section.

Hi @roycegracie,
No, it wasn’t mistake to add “front-page.php” in the theme. We have added it so that one doesn’t have to choose a page template to show home page sections.
You can still create a static homepage with “front-page.php” in the theme by disabling every section of the Home Page Settings from customizer.
