Do you know why the site comes back up when the plugin is inactive? I was considering deactivating it completely and do a clean install of it. Any logs you need? I can also provide a login if it would help.
That worked! It took a few mins to work, at first it didn’t, luckily I got distracted and came back and it was fine. Do you know what was causing it?
Update: only issue is that now it’s not able to confirm the current Key. Says API failed.
Update 2: looks like it fixed itself just now. Monitoring for next 24hrs.
Update 3: Never mind, site not loading again. So it looked it worked due to the key not being verified when the API failed. Once it verified itself site went back down.

Undertstood, thank you, I looked into WordFence and they seem to auto clear the log during their scans. Maybe a similar option can be added?

It seems a solution would be a minor fix or alternative simple line of code, why not make the change for that? so far on one of my sites with over 30 plugins, only clean talk is throwing an warning on all pages.

@dimitrycleantalk I understand the need to keep it but since posting this thread, the mentioned file is now at 6mb, adding to a busy site load. I’m guessing next week i’ll be at 10mb. You have to understand one thing, why is clean talk the only plugin with large database entries and size on medium site? You got to find a way to make these entries less or stored on clean talk server instead. I saw other users posted here on the same issue. I love you guys but please add an automatic option, maybe once a week or month? maybe a option to manually clear or limit entries? I’m not checking for stuff that happened weeks ago for instance.
Thanks @shagimuratov , I’m going to give this a try and report back. Honestly I deleted the entire table (clean the entries) and now clean talk is complaining about being unable to insert scan data. Don’t know why it don’t just recreate it like Wordfence does. I’m gonna reinstall the entire plugin on the busy site. Gonna try what you suggested on my other websites.

slower here too, it seems it could be the database, i was monitoring my server and cpu usage spiked alot.

Update, speed issue is fixed
I have the same issue, they did an update for me in fixing an issue with something else. Will see if the new update also fixed the performance issue. If you want to try it, just look for my post.
Thank you, you guys are amazing. This update fixed the issue. Not sure if it improved performance of the login screen yet, but will monitor and create a new post if anything. Many thanks again!
