I turned off the automatic update for most plugins, but there was no reason for me to install the update offered as the plugin hasn’t caused any problems so far. The resulting error clearly pointed to the update that had just been carried out as the culprit, so I was able to rename the plugin folder and the dashboard was accessible again.

I have now installed the current version and I couldn’t find any errors.

I have now removed the entry for HSTS from W3TC and manually inserted the complete HTTP from https://scotthelme.co.uk/hardening-your-http-response-headers into htaccess. So that HSTS is not recognized by https://hstspreload.org, but the header is reported for individual files.

Since I don’t have my own server, I can’t access the configuration file.

My problem is probably due to the configuration of the server at Ionos (1and1). I have now found several sources that also describe that an HSTS in htaccess is not read correctly if the site is hosted by Ionos. At one point it is even claimed that the rules have to be entered both in htaccess and with php in the functions.php of the (child) theme.

In fact, on my other sites that are not hosted by Ionos, the htaccess entries regarding “Strict-Transport-Security” work fine.

Nevertheless, I would like to send the “Browser Cache” settings again.

There was a small update from Pixelmate, but that didn’t change the problem. Pixelmate also announces a complete rework.
I had carried out a few more experiments with exclusions from JavaScript optimization and also excluded further minimization under “More options”. But if JavaScript optimization is activated, the slider will still be incorrect, i.e. H. shown one above the other.
As soon as JavaScript optimization is possible again without errors, I will report.

I deactivated applications one after the other and turned on the JavaScript optimization optimization. When I deactivated “DSVGO Pixelmate” I seem to have found what I was looking for – this app was also recently updated. I informed the provider accordingly and asked them to check.

I reset the app to the recommended basic settings and then removed all additional options. I then excluded various folders from the optimization. But as long as the optimization for JavaScript occurs, the first mentioned errors arise.
If I don’t find a solution, I’ll have to say goodbye to the app.

I have already tried this, unfortunately without success. I’ll get back to you tomorrow.

Excluding wp-content/plugins or wp-content/themes does not provide any improvement.

Internal Server Error 500 is also displayed in the console on pages without a slider when JavaScript optimization is activated.
