wp-config.php is not in the root but in the WordPress directory, no problem with this.

sorry, about the username and password I was wrong it’s there and still the same as my backup from december 28
same for name of the database (mysql) and location (WordPress directory).

further no feedback from yahoo until now (7.5 hours ago)

do you mean wp-config.php, there is no wp-config in the root.

wp-config.php is unchanged for 14 days now
there is no database username and password in there

I think the people at WP need to know that their partnering with Yahoo has not been as great as everyone made it out to be.

I signed in to Yahoo webhosting through WordPress to support WordPress by affiliate earnings – I hope they will listen.

No good for SEO. In a case like this I like to see a 500 error. If a robot comes along all pages are looking the same. Time to improve the wordpress error handling.
