Also, is there any way to ensure that that downloaded copy of my site by that person is not used on any other server again?

Thanks and sorry for the delayed response. So The staging URL was at https://sliderrestore.balajiinvestmart.com and it was deleted on Feb 8, sometime between 9am – 11am CST. She just deleted the WordPress installation, she did not disconnect Jetpack.

She deleted the staging site, without disconnecting Jetpack first. If she reinstalls it back at the same place, would you still be able to recover?

I am having the same issue. I have been banging my head for 3 days to try to figure out why I couldn’t change the menu, I also changed the colors in settings to no avail. Then I finally came to this forum to search, only to find out I’ve wasted 3 days on something I had no control over! However, there is NO comment telling you that you can’t change the primary colors without pro and even when you change the colors in settings, it doesn’t tell you this!!

I totally agree with @dean! This is BS!!!
