Thanks Gioni,
Yes it was silly of me. I thought incognito would be sufficient.
Do you have any idea why the login modal might be affected in Safari only though? It only happens when I restrict wp-login.php
Many thanks for your hard work. It’s very much appreciated.
Actually now I look at it it may be ok.
The log is showing ip addresses prevented from accessing wp-login.php.
I can access it from my computer as can others but of course we’re all accessing from a whitelisted ip address. Doh!
So as far as I can tell it’s working fine. Might be worth checking from a different network.
I’m having exactly the same problem with 8.3 having just updated.
Additionally, selecting this option – when it was working in the previous version – prevented my login modal on the front page from working in Safari web browser only. You can initiate it once, login and then logout but subsequently clicking the login modal does nothing. Only affecting the Safari browser as far as I can tell.
Stop Press. This worked for me.

In reply to: [Image Hotspot by DevVN] Hotspots in very large imagesThanks very much – It looks like it might just be the thing. I’ll check it out.
Many many thanks for your kind assistance with this. I’ve been struggling with it for several days.
Best wishes.
