It seems the Tag CLoud feature only works for Posts – not Pages. I’ve installed the Page Tagger plugin & tagged each & every page. But in the Tag Cloud the tag font-size doesn’t change to reflect the Page usage. All the tags are of the default size.

What do I do now?

Ok…I’ve found it! The reason behind those invalid characters.
It’s because of a plugin – Tynt.

Those “invalid characters ” didn’t ever appear before I’d clicked the link to my site(for the 1st time) displayed in a Google Search results.

Now it’s appearing everytime I type my URL in the address bar.
What’s the problem?

Roy, it’s the default one. I do not use any Most Recent Comments plugin.

esmi, can I use Tag Clouds for my Pages? Coz my site is mainly Pages-based – & not Post-based.

t31os_, FYKI I noticed something that I may’ve forgotten.

My Suffusion theme offers me the facility to insert the following info for each Page:keywords & description. This exists in the edit page.

So I found my solution!

What is it that you’ve modified that causes concern about upgrading?

I’ve installed plug-ins (CJ Coming Soon,Collapsible Elements,Comment Notifier,Fast and Secure Contact Form,Wibiya Toolbar,WP-Cirrus,WP Clickcha,CKEditor for WordPress) & a theme (Suffusion). That’s the concern – if that’s what it’s supposed to be!

Btw, t31os_, let me inform you that my home page contains links to all the Pages I’ve created. And each of these Pages have their related navigation/menu bar at the top.

You know what…my reason for creating this thread is because I am interested in the SEO of my Pages. And since the Tag entry is absent for Pages I am worried. But I must also inform you that I’ve properly named the permalinks (contains the relevant words) of these Pages. Just in case it may help in the SEO of my Pages.

Will this result in a Tag text-box in the Quick Edit form of the Page? If yes, none exists?

t31os_, sorry I should’ve told you earlier but I am not an expert on PHP. The post.php is open before me right now. Mind telling me the exact code that I need to insert – & where?

Alternative : Modify the file that registers the default post types and add post_tag in as a supported taxonomy (untested but should work in theory).

t31os_, sorry but I do not know the file you’re referring to. And btw, are you sure it’s “post_tag” – & not “page_tag”?

t31os_, can you tell me why in the world is the Tag option non-existent for a Page. After all it’s there in Post for SEO!
Pages too deserve to be SEO-compatible. Don’t you think so?
