Well, I have been clicking that window all day and it still hasn’t stopped. I can’t really deal with this process anymore. It is almost as bad as Chinese water torture. I seriously regret that I tried to update the plugin. Not sure what to do now.

This is officially the most painful wordpress plugin upgrade I have ever experienced. Either that or I must be doing it wrong.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that “Table Rate Shipping is a premium shipping method which let you define multiple rates based on destination.” I am not sure that is what I need here.

Where can I get developer support? I need a little clearer advice on how to set this up properly.

Oh man… They have tried restoring 3 times and now they have me hold. Apparently even after restoring we are getting the white screen. With Cloudflare and Bulletproof Security, I bet something is screwing it up royally! Been on the phone for 30 min and they haven’t been able to get it to work again.

I am having my hosting company roll us back to last night’s backup. But I am scared to upgrade to 3.5 now! Oye…

I tried deactivating all the plugins and I got a white page.
Now I am really stuck.

Checking back in to post an update as I have made good progress.

Blake @ Limcuda was quick to reply to my support request I sent through their website. He said that there is an update to the PayPal advanced plugin.

I purchased 1.1 but it did not announce there was an update on the wordpress plugins page. I had to go back to my Woocommerce account and redownload the new 1.2 version of the plugin and manually update it. The white screen problem is gone.

Blake also recommended resetting the permalinks. Hope this all helps if anyone else encounters this problem.

I was not able to get the edits to work until I tried this:

Override the woocommerce/templates/content-product_cat.php template by copying it to your-theme/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php and adding something like the following to the top:

if ( is_shop() && in_array( $category->slug, array( ‘donation’ ) ) ) {
return;
}

Obviously substituting in whichever subcategories you want excluded, and using the appropriate conditional tags to apply to the particular pages you want.

Nevermind… I figured out the podpress does not make an entry in the database until you hit play at least once.

Tim, I hate to dig up an old post but I am working on my site again and as it turns out I am having a similar issue with podpress. I still have the wp_podpress_statcounts & wp_podpress_stats entries. I also have published 52 podcasts, however the database is only showing the first 21 that I uploaded when I was using WP 3.1.2.. I have tried to disable and re-enable the stats. I have also re-saved my permalinks using the /%postname%/ method.

All new podcasts are not being added to the database. What is your advice? Thanks.
