In reply to: [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Conflict with Featured Content Gallery PluginNope. No luck here. I moved on and found things that would work well together.
I completely abandoned WP e-commerce and would advise others to proceed with caution if they choose to use it. The developers don’t really seem to care about helping their users, and I found that they weren’t even familiar with their own code for their plugin!

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Upload button possible?Fantastic! Thank you. Can’t wait.
I have to say that I was really happy with cformsII…until yesterday, when I realized that I had to spend waaaaay too much time trying to get a second form on my site to display differently than the first. Hadn’t encountered this before as I always just used one or two of the same style form on a site and went with it. But let me tell you, even as someone very familiar with CSS and all, it’s a pain.
Your form plugin is super easy to use and gets the job done without a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles.
Thank you again and please keep developing this! It is appreciated!

In reply to: [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Conflict with Featured Content Gallery PluginWanted to add that I have asked about this issue on the WP e-commerce forums, as has another person experiencing the same problem, and have not received a reply for weeks. Guess no on at WP e-commerce has a clue either.
Still would be interested in knowing your apprehension about using plugins based on mootools.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Conflict with Featured Content Gallery PluginHi Mufasa,
Thanks for the comments.
I don’t know a thing about mootools. Why do you think they should be avoided?
I’ve decided not to use the featured content plugin after all. Maybe something will come along in the future that will play nice with WP e-commerce ??

In reply to: [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Conflict with Featured Content Gallery PluginI found this too but I’m not sure how to proceed, which file(s) he’s talking about editing, etc. Don’t want to mess things up.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Conflict with Featured Content Gallery PluginI think so too bobcJZ.
Here’s the link to the Featured Content Gallery Plugin:

I know that the Featured Content Gallery has mootools in its scripts folder, as well as js files. Could they be the problem?
I was doing some research yesterday, and I think the solution is to use the jQuery noconflict function call but since I’m not familiar with jQuery I don’t know exactly what I need to include nor where I need to put it.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-Classified] Will development continue?Mohmed…Please continue to develop this plugin. It is much needed.
**For those of you having problems with this plugin**
1. Install and activate plugin
2. Go into Manage — WpClassifieds — Add/Edit Categories
3. Click on “Add Category”
4. Categories are the MAIN sections of your classifieds. For example, Autos For Sale
5. Now that you have a category, click on “Add List” under the Add/Edit Categories menu.
6. Create a list and then choose its parent category.
**Lists are your subsections on your classifieds. For example, “Trucks” would be a list whose parent category would be “Autos For Sale.”
Unless you create lists under your categories, you won’t see a thing on your classified page.
Make sense?
I’m using this on 2.6 and it works perfectly. No problems. I think the problems people have come from the fact that they don’t understand Categories and Lists.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Plugin: AStickyPostOrderER] removes all posts from front pageYes, that’s true. I’ll give it a whirl. ??

In reply to: [Plugin: AStickyPostOrderER] removes all posts from front pageI changed to the default template, then activated the plugin and the exact same thing happened. Deactivated the plugin and everything is fine and back to normal.
I’m wondering if it is conflicting with another plugin. Advanced Category Excluder? Extended Category Widget?
