In reply to: [Email posts to subscribers] Post Notification does not send emailsThe same problem with me – my solution:
Look under Email Posts –> Action in the WP cron table. If there are entrys ‘NA’ (probably No Action) in the line elp_cron_hourly_event under Last/Next Run – try the following:
Install WP Crontrol Plugin. Check if there ist an entry elp_cron_hourly_event. If not add this name as a new cron event. Set a date/time. The action elp_cron_trigger_hourly() is then automatically added.
After this in the WP cron table (Email Posts –> Action) now must appear a date and time. That’s it. The Plugin you can remove.
Email-to-subsribers is triggered by the hourly cron event. Apparently WP cron loses this event sometimes…

In reply to: [Podlove Podcast Publisher] No episodes in the feedNo solution.
I use Seriously Simple Podcasting now.Unfortunately there is not yet the playlist function for recently episodes. But it should be in work. At the moment I offer it on an extra page with the wp-player.
[podcast_playlist order=”DESC”]
But I must update this page after I have published a new episode.- This reply was modified 4 years, 3 months ago by rainerb.

In reply to: [Email posts to subscribers] Need Timezone settingThanks for your tips!
The server time is correct. That was actually logical, because wp shows the exact local time. But the plugin shows the current time with one hour difference.
The problem must be the plugin… Is there a relevant file in the plugin?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Email posts to subscribers] Need Timezone settingok. now without error. (I con not program only copy :-))
But under Mail configuration –>Your server current Date and Time: ….
still the universal time instead of the local time. ??I first overwrote the file via ftp and then logged in at wp.

In reply to: [Email posts to subscribers] Need Timezone settingThanks, but when I added
date_default_timezone_set(‘Europe/Berlin’) #
Error: critical issue, page down.
(actual wp version)
Thanks for the quick answer!
I had read the note for the upgrade and downloaded my subscribe link urls.
The point Customizing Subscription Links in your help link is no longer in my Podcast options. That’s the problem: no more Add new button. Only on my site or generally due to the update?
There is also the problem that the podcast url https://www.podcast.de/podcast/855320 cannot be saved under Feed details. Other urls I can delete and put again and save. But by this url the url box after saving is empty again… ??

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] podcast pageYes, I have saved the permalinks as described by the snippet. After this the new url was /new-slug. Additionally I have logged off from WP and emptied the browser cache. Nevertheless /podcast-2 (or -1) is always created as link of my page.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] podcast pageHello Craig, thanks for your hint!
With this snippet I had already tried this (see above), but unfortunately it does not work. Yes I can rename /podcast in an other slug, but whenever I want to give /podcast to my own page, the ending is automatically extended by /podcast-2. The url /podcast seems to be blocked anyway.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] podcast pageBecause I want to start my podcast I renamed the slug to /podcast and called my own podcast page /podcastliste.
Nevertheless I would like to know, how/if it is possible to create an own page with the slug /podcast?
Thanks!
folder templates: feed-stylesheet.xsl
delete in a text editor the unwanted anchors under <p class=”episode_meta”>
with a plugin update this must be renewed
