Hi Zulf,

I didn’t use code snippets to insert the banner, I used the header in the customise section of the theme and just added an animated gif, which included the logo and the banner, I create a doc to the correct size, however, this has not resolved the issue as I need to add a website link to the banner, which I cannot do with an animated gif, also we do sometimes use .swf files as our banners, and the header image section will not allow me to place a .swf file in there.

I will open a support ticket.

I have sorted it, it was a plugin as I suspected, I have deactivated and removed it and it has solved the problem.

I’m really sorry about this, but I’m struggling to find a file called clean_style.css, I’m certain I’m looking in wrong place, I’ve done a search in my ftp and it brings nothing up, so I have had a look through the editor in wordpress and can’t find the file in there either. I’ve just had a look at it from the show source, and can see clean_style.css, so can see what you are saying, however, as I said I’m new to this, and not sure how to find the correct file to sort this.

I’m very confused now, we have another website that I have used this same template on, the images on this one are absolutely fine, I have just had a look at the source files on that site, and they don’t even have a clean_style.css

Many thanks for coming back to me.

I would like to put the ads, where the header is above the menu, instead of being able to put an actual image in there, which as you know, you can do through the header part in customise, I would like to put the ads in there, if you take a look at https://www.qanurserymagazine.co.uk, you will see I have placed a banner ad in there, as an animated gif, which is half of what I want to do, however, I need to have the banner ad link to the customers website, and also we do get some .swf files and I cannot put a .swf file in that position.

With regards to the images, I will set up a separate thread, although I am convinced it is not something I did as much as a plug in I installed, that caused it.

I will have a look at child themes.

I am new to this, and not sure how to create a child theme, please could you help me with that?

I am trying to place the 728p x 90p banner ad which needs to include a website link, within the header on the top right hand side, one of the banner ads I am using is an animated gif, we also have another website which has a .swf banner head, the company I work for has a number of websites, and I am hoping to convert some more of them to this theme, as I think it is a really beautiful theme.

The website I am working on is a test website, and is https://test.qaeducation.co.uk, and the simple ads management plugin I am trying to incorporate into the header is from https://www.simplelib.com/?p=480, basically the instructions on this site says to put the ads into the header you need to use output functions and it gives some code, but it doesn’t say where to put it, I have tried but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

I would be most grateful for any help you can give.

Also, I wonder if you would be kind enough to offer me a little advice on something else aswell please, somehow I have managed to change the images from rectangles to ovals, and it doesn’t look right, would you have any idea as to why?
