I’m not familiar with SimpleXML, how do I find out if this is enabled?

I receive the following error when I try to add a youtube video to my gallery:

Really looking forward to the 1.6 update! Hope you release it soon? I am using CVG on my fansite but cannot link to Youtube videos at the moment as I keep getting an error.

Thanks for making this plugin and I will keep checking back to see when you release 1.6! Soon please!!
