Thank you. Using Google is not an option for me due to security/user-privacy concerns and the fact that the contact form is not important enough for me to pay for as google is indenting to do in the near future.

    Questions:
    1) Do you think that if I replace the contact form on the page with another provider, it will be compatible, OR is there something about the entire page that will prevent it.
In case it helps this is the page in question
    mathematicuslabs.com/contact

    2) If you can, please also let me know what you think about the comment block on the “Blog”page: https://mathematicuslabs.com/blog/
I assume the very same problems exist there as well.

After learning a bit more, it is clear that the correct choice is hCaptcha. We can consider this thread closed.

    Thank you.
    After finding this video

I realized I had installed “contact form 7″ instead of contact form 7 recaptcha” plugin.
I installed the latter and kept the former.

So now I have these questions:
    1. Which contact form do I actually have? CF7 or the one that came with the “theme” template I copied?

    2. If they are different, which contact-form is the one I should have for the recaptcha function?

    3. Do I have to use gooogle to generate the site key? I do not have a google account and prefer not to create one.
