This started on July 21 I think. I cant recollect if I did any plugin updates on that day though.

I was running WP 3.9.1 & nextgen 2.0.66 at the time of the issue.

However, the issue has been fixed (hopefully permanently).

Here’s what I did.

1. I couldn’t access the WP-ADMIN earlier.
2. So I logged on to the server (using CPANEL) and renamed the nextgen-gallery folder ( in wp-content/plugins/) to something like “xxx”
3. Then WP-ADMIN worked. I was able to login to the WP dashboard.
4. There was a message stating I needed to install & activate nextgen-gallery in order to use the PRO version. I temporarily ignored it.
5. While I was logged in to the WP-ADMIN, I renamed the “xxx” folder to “nextgen-gallery” and using the plugin screen deleted the plugin from my site.
6. Then I downloaded & installed the plugin once again.
7. Things have been working since.

Let me monitor the site for a couple of days & if anythings seems to be broken I’ll reach out again.

I’m getting the same error. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

My website’s layout seems to have gone for a toss too. The content is all there. But pretty mixed/messed up.
