In reply to: Using URL Parameters in WordPressSomething like this, https://thewordpresswarrior.com/616/passing-variables-via-url but here instead of passing data to a form, I want to use the data passed to display an image from my blog as well as some text.

In reply to: Using URL Parameters in WordPressHi bcworkz,
I meant that users will be able to generate a link by clicking a button, suppose in which their name is attached, and then wen the user sends it to another user, and when he/she opens the links, there will be page where the image whose attachment ID is included in the URL will be opened within an image frame with the name attached to it.

In reply to: Create a Page like FaceMash using WordPressHi mikemayhem3030, I had a look at the plugin, but I think I will not be able to use it, as it needs each picture to be uploaded, and since I have over 1000 images on my site, it’s not feasible to upload 1000 photos over again and add it to the plugin.
Can you suggest a better way of adding pictures to this plugin for rating? Like choosing random images from the
wp-uploads
folder?Forum: Hacks
In reply to: Create a Page like FaceMash using WordPressThanks bcworkz for the suggestion, but I am finding it too hard to implement as I am not an expert with WordPress or PHP coding.
Thanks mikemayhem3030 for the suggestion, but I would like to ask you that is the free version customizable? I knew about the premium version, that’s why I was opting for a plugin free solution as I am little tight on the budget now.
I want to implement your plugin on a single WordPress page, with custom styling. Is that possible with the free version?

In reply to: Create Duplicate Posts and Use Random FunctionI think you are not getting my point, actually I want to create a type of slideshow on my blog with my existing posts, so I want to keep my existing posts as well as create a duplicate copy of it, and give it a different styling.
I then want to call those duplicate pages repeatedly using a random function to call those pages.
So, in short I want to keep my existing posts with the current styles as well as create a duplicate copy of them with different styles, and then use a random function to call them.
