In reply to: Loading very slowwhich hosting provider are you using r u using a windows server or a linux one? i think the loading speed is fine if you are using shared hosting

3) the image you are using now is quite too small for it to be on a full page background unless you want to tile it :/

In reply to: Customizing a Theme to Match an Existing Siteyou have to edit your css look for the menu area of your style.css and adjust it accordingly i dont think you can just copy paste the styles since it is a spry menu bar or if u want someone else to do it for you try here

In reply to: Newbie q: Copying layout from another theme?w/o coding i dont think you would be able to even copy the bloglayout from another theme as there would be tonns of errors my suggestion is either you chose a new theme which suits your needs and make your homepage a static page or.. i guess you have to edit the current theme :/ and in my opinion copying a bloglayout from another theme is much more confusing than editting your current theme or i might be able to edit your current theme if u like it that much contact here
