Thanks for your feedback. I am happy to fix the issues and continue support such a useful tool.

but now when used it no longer displays anything from the original page. All hook/actions listed run off the page to the right and all you see is green on the page.

It would be grate if you add some screenshot because I can’t reproduce the issue in my testing.
Just let me know if you find anything else or have any improvement suggestions.

As Simply Show Hooks hasn’t been maintained with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress, I had decided to support such as great tool and improve constantly.

Here is the differences:
1. A flexible hooks window
2. Hooks are linked with Plugin API reference
3. More clean interface
4. Secured and sanitized code

Also I am planing to add a settings page to control some necessary options. If you have any more suggestion or feedback please let me know. Thanks
