Posts on the left
in the most recent post I want the greetings card URL to start automatically when the post is ‘clcik accessed’ – by automatically I mean without the further mouse click on ther URL in the post.
Is this possible please? If so, I don’t know the code. Embedding isn’t the answer obviously.

I have a greetings card – external URL “https://etc-etc-etc…” which I want to open automatically when the post referring to the page is clicked. At present I only have the clickable URL on that page – clicking opens the greeting card – but I want the card to load automatically. How do I do this please? At present, the page reads

which opens the carc when the link is clicked but I want the car to open automatically when the page is accessed. I am using WordPress 3.5 (because I’m scared to upgrade to 3.8 in case I lose my way of doing things!).

My latest ‘post’ is “We need a First Aid Co-ordinator”

Click the post and you will see that the best I can do is offer a ‘click’ to the URL which then opens up to a coloured five languages blurb.

However, if you click on the following post “Local Weather Forecast”, the post opens direct to the latest weather without the need for an intermediate ‘click here’ syntax.

I managed to create this months and months ago and have been updating the ‘Local Weather’ post umpteen times to keep it as number 2 in the priority ladder – now I can’t remember what I did to get the weather to show straightaway nor, after many tries, get back there !!

Are you saying that there’s an essential difference between an Internet URL and a home-spun URL so that the one shows and the other needs a leg-up?
