Hi,
thanks a lot for your great support. Version 2.4.2 has fixed the ? Symbol problem as you already indicated in your last post. So together with slightly changed positioning settings all problems are solved.
I am really impressed about your fast support for a free product and will post a nice 5-star review soon ??
Thanks,
AndreasHi again,
I did some more testing with updated version 2.4.1 and found solutions for my two problems:
1) Seems like the Y-positioning slightly changed. With version 2.3 and older I used setting of “295” to print the watermarking at the bottom of an DIN A4 pages (german standard paper format). With version 2.4.1 I had to switch to “293” to avoid waterwoo to create a page-break and print the watermarking to a new page.
2) My watermark included the copyright Symbol ?, seems like this is not supported anymore after change to new library. When using it as first character, Waterwoo prints a question mark “?” instead of the configured watermarking. Easy workaround: using “copyright” instead of “?” for the moment ??
So I suggest that you add a warning to the changelog to double-check settings after upgrading to version 2.4

In reply to: [OceanWP] Rating stars constantly appearHi Amit,
site link is raetseldetektive.de.
Yes, without the code star ratings are correctly shown at mouse hover event. In our shop page linked above e.g. the current product on 7th place (soccer picture) has 4 stars. Is it possible to add the code for a single product for testing? I would like to avoid that our page shows 5 stars everywhere during troubleshooting.
BR and thanks a lot in advance

In reply to: [OceanWP] Rating stars constantly appearHi,
sorry for “hijacking” this thread. I was searching for a solution for exactly the same problem and was happy to find this thread. But the custom CSS code provided in rating-stars-constantly-appear thread always shows 5 stars on our installation, even in case of having a product with e.g. only 4 out of 5 star in average. This is quite strange. Only in case of zero ratings, the stars are not shown at all.
Is this a problem only on our installation, or is there maybe a fault in the code? To avoid angry customers not trusting our star ratings anymore, I had to rollback the code an I can’t show it on our live environment for the moment.

Hi Amit,
thanks a lot for the quick resolution of the problem, the mentioned workaround is working fine.
Longterm, I still think it would be better to include something like this in the oceanwp code and not only in custom css section, but of course, I am going to mark the thread as solved.
Thanks a again for your quick help,
Andreas
Hi Amit, any news on this topic?
Is a fix for this problem scheduled for a future release? If needed I could also open an issue on github.

Hi,
now as V4.1 is available I can provide a URL on production environment, sorry for the delay:
I have configured following URL-Source for redirection:
/?order=wc_order_ndasfdsafe5G0
using “Ignore all parameters” option to match also in case URL contains additional parameters besides order number shown above.Target URL is our start page https://raetseldetektive.de
When using an URL containing all parameters of the original Woocommerce download link except email parameter, redirect is working as expected:
https://raetseldetektive.de/?download_file=111&order=wc_order_ndasfdsafe5G0&key=5adsfewadf-03f8-40db-aced-69bd011cdb3cBut once the email parameter is included, I get an error message about a not valid download link: https://raetseldetektive.de/?download_file=111&order=wc_order_ndasfdsafe5G0&key=5adsfewadf-03f8-40db-aced-69bd011cdb3c&[email protected]
Unfortunately I can not switch off Woocommerce plugin, but I am now pretty sure that somehow Woocommerce is grabbing the URL before redirection plugin kicks in, once the URL includes the email parameter.
So most likely it’s not a bug of redirection plugin, but an inter working issue with Woocommerce.
Hi John,
thanks a lot, but by some reason I still encounter the same problem with 4.1 beta in my test installation. Is there any way to check if the original URL is passed to redirection plugin for verification, or if another plugin “grabs” the original URL first and than throws an error due to download link not existing anymore? Maybe either be woocommerce itself (providing the download link) or Waterwoo plugin which is used to watermark our downloadable PDF documents on the fly kicks in first.
My installation has the following list of active plugins:

In reply to: [OceanWP] WooCommerce Ajax add to cart not workingYou misunderstood my last comment, I mentioned that it is working fine on our installation. I guess there is a local issue on installation of greg808. So it was my plan to tell you guys that problem of greg808 does not seem to be a general inter-working issue of oceanwp and recently updated Woocommerce & WordPress ??
Maybe I should have used a few more words to make that more clear, sorry for that.- This reply was modified 6 years, 1 month ago by raetseldetektive.

In reply to: [OceanWP] WooCommerce Ajax add to cart not workingHi,
I just upgraded our Woocommerce store (https://raetseldetektive.de) to wordpress 5.1 and WooCommerce 3.5.5 of course including latest oceanwp theme and extras plugin. On our installation Ajax add-to-cart option seems to be working fine. But we just use woocommerce germanized & waterwoo as additional woocommerce addons.

Hi Amit,
great, thanks a lot for the extremely fast response. I am looking forward to see an updated version.
And once again, thanks for the great theme. Once being familiar with all the standard features we will of course have a look at the paid addons as well to see if they provide additional benefit for us.

Hi,
thanks a lot for the feedback. I am happy to hear that you plan to have a look at it for one of the next releases.
In case you need assistance to reproduce, I can activate floating bar feature on our webpage https://raetseldetektive.de/shop/ temporarily and disable “sold individually” checkbox for a single product to show you the difference.
Just to clarify: To my understanding the “sold individually” functionality is a standard Woocommerce setting on “product data -> inventory” product page. It is quite useful to avoid people buying digital media more than once by fault, so in my point of view this feature is common to be used on online shops.
My other Woocommerce addons should in theory not get in conflict, especially as OceanWP stated to support woocommerce germanized addon (including paid pro version?) since a while.
By the way, I have used Storefront theme before. With Storefront the same functionality is called “Sticky add to cart button” and it works fine also with “sold individually” checkbox of the products being activated, so I am pretty sure it is a problem of OceanWP.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Andreas
