We use the avada theme, and all works fine with the search and results page before we update your plugin, its only after updating that, that the search comes back with no results, so unsure what it is changing when its updated

Fixed it I think, Inside my caching plugin i had to add the exception of my new login page so it did not try and cache my renamed login page. Hopefully they will stay fixed now.

What a odd feature to include in the core structure , to duplicate the homepage. Found the setting in Yoast , thank you. Will it hurt to seo redirect the page 2 back to the homepage as well or will that screw anything up ? Ta

It happens with any jpg file from anywhere eg, google, saved by us in photoshop , random images from anywhere in this format so its not what has created the jpg and its only suddenly started happening.

UPDATE: we have just figured out that this is only effecting JPGs ( typically the most common formet we upload) it makes it so we cant edit and crop the jpgs, makes it so they only upload full size as mentioned above, we cant upload to change our theme main logo , all these faults see to be around if they are a JPG. We tested a PNG file and it does not give us any of the above errors.

I entered a full size image as the featured image as normal and it would resize it for me

since the error has begun, see the image above when you view the image:

It is more annoying when i try and add media to a post, It only lets me insert it as FULL SIZE so its not longer resizing the images to all the different sizes set in settings.

Hello, I disabled all plugins and then activated the default theme and the error is still there. ??

My hosting disabled mod_deflate and the issue is still there it wont uplaod any image other then full size, so can anyone help on what could of suddenly caused this?

The site has been running over a year and this has never happened before.

I showed you the image of it smushing it and changing its name…

We have no other plugins that would do this or infact anything that is different to do this…

We could disable smush on upload though would make the plugin redundant for us..but it does the same when we try and smush indivigual images after upload too.

But no problem if you don’t know why its doing this, thats ok I will stop using it for now, but thank you for trying.

Oh and also it is changing the file name of the pictures..

I uploaded a photo example.jpg and it named it on upload olympus digital camera…rather frustrating after renaming all my images before upload.
